Election year begins Monday at the Supreme Court

Print Friendly

Iowa is history and New Hampshire and South Carolina are about to have their say. But election year at the Supreme Court begins Monday.

In a rare afternoon session only a month after accepting the case, the court will hear a Texas redistricting dispute that is complicated in every way except its bottom line: four new congressional seats that have the potential to decide which party controls the House of Representatives.

Why stop Karl Rove? I now see why the left is having a field day. We are fighting and destroying our own. What gives?

    • sorighton

Agree. Why is he and other GOP donors any worse than the Soros donors?

    • Insurgent

Does anyone truly think the Erkel-controlled federal court system is going to rule in favor of or against anything that would hurt this Kenyan LFN from getting re-elected???

      • Die Free

This is a state matter. If the state/people do not want a new district then it’s there problem. If the court does not see that then odummer has infected them. This is one more reason he needs to be strung up on treason.

        • http://FaceBook ron yurchak

I always thought redistricting was left to the individual states. I say yes to treason. Let’s get on with it.

        • Majjohn

The section of the voting rights act requiring the States to get prior approval is and has always been unconstitutional. Each state has the right to draw up their own districts and under the seperation of powers the courts have no right to interfere. Oh, and for those of you in Rio Linda this has nothing to do with the electoral college in case you decide to go off in that tract.

AMERICANS, “As our Founding Fathers intended, it is the States which protect us from all out tyranny. America cannot survive further trampling of our right to constitutionally eligible leadership. WE MUST ACT NOW!”

ACT NOW to prevent your state’s certification of the dictator-in-chief for the 2012 ballot access.

BARACK OBAMA UNABLE TO REGISTER FOR STATE PRIMARY AS ALABAMA REVIEWS HIS ELIGIBILITY TO BE A CANDIDATE FOR THE PRESIDENCY

01-07-2012 12:26 pm – Americans United for Freedom
UPDATE: An Alabama Court has announced that it will hear arguments as to whether Barack Hussein Obama II is in fact eligible to appear on the State Presidential Primary Ballot.

Several Alabama citizens have filed a lawsuit within the Alabama Circuit Court to “prevent certification of Barack Hussein Obama for 2012 Alabama ballot access pending final hearing based on factual evidentiary hearings.”

The deadline for any candidate to register to appear on the Alabama Presidential Primary ballot is just days away, but by agreeing to hear the case, the Alabama Courts have effectively stalled any efforts by the Democratic Party to place Obama on the ballot.

Just as important is the fact that the Court did indeed accept the case. By agreeing to hear the case, the Court appears to have recognized that the defendants, ordinary Alabama citizens, do in fact have standing. In many previous eligibility cases, courts have ruled that ordinary citizens did not have standing, in other words were not sufficiently harmed by the actions of the defendant and therefore had no legal right to bring their case before the courts.

The actions of this Alabama Court is a game changer in that the legal system has finally recognized that ordinary citizens CAN be harmed and DO have the right to protest unconstitutional actions committed at the highest levels of Federal government.

This case could revolutionize the legal system AND return the judiciary to the duty our Founding Fathers intended – protecting the citizenry from Federal power mongering.

As we have said for so long, the power to defeat the Usurper in Chief lies with the STATES. We MUST continue to push all the other states to DEMAND PROOF POSITIVE evidence of eligibility from any Presidential candidate who desires to appear on State ballots.

            UPDATE: GEORGIA SECRETARY OF STATE
            DEMANDS PROOF POSITIVE!

Georgia becomes the first state to pursue Obama ineligibility complaints and the end result may keep Barack Obama OFF the Georgia 2012 ballot!

Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s office is pursuing FIVE separate ineligibility complaints filed by Georgia residents. Each complaint argues that Barack Hussein Obama II is ineligible to appear on the 2012 Georgia Presidential ballot. Secretary Kemp has assigned 5 different hearings under five different judges, so that the complaints can move forward.

FAILURE TO APPEAR ON THE GEORGIA BALLOT WOULD COST OBAMA DEVASTATING MEDIA, AND 15 ELECTORAL VOTES!

As our Founding Fathers intended, it is the States which protect us from all out tyranny. The federal election in 2012 and the constitutional eligibility of the candidates is no different. In the end, OUR STATES are responsible for ensuring the eligibility of candidates and OUR STATES will protect us from the tyranny of a Presidential usurper.

With primary season about to hit full swing, time is running short. We MUST compel more states to follow Georgia’s lead and DEMAND PROOF POSITIVE ELIGIBILITY for ANY candidate placed on election ballots.

America cannot survive further trampling of our right to constitutionally eligible leadership. WE MUST ACT NOW!

The White House’s badly forged “birth certificate” has not ended the debate on Barack Obama’s eligibility. Rather, it has opened the door for further allegations of fraud and ineligibility. Georgia resident Kevin R. Powell wrote in his complaint, “Barack Hussein Obama II has publicly admitted his father Barack Obama Sr. was a Kenyan native and a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. Barack Obama Sr. never became a U.S. citizen. Therefore, Barack Hussein Obama II is not now and never can be a natural born citizen of the United States….”

Citizen Powell is correct that the legal question of natural born citizenship is unresolved in American jurisprudence, and in the nefarious case of Barack Hussein Obama sits as a gaping wound to the Constitution’s integrity, and to our ordered liberty. America is left in an abject posture of unprecedented vulnerability to our national security, sovereignty and prosperity UNLESS AND UNTIL THIS CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS IS RESOLVED!

We MUST continue the outcry to determine the truth, and restore the Constitution.

KEEP INELIGIBLE OBAMA OFF 2012 ELECTION BALLOTS!

have any of you read that a demwitocrap judge ruled that it was ok not to abide by the rules of electability if the d**khead was already elected and in the WH before the error was caught. I guess in this judge’s opinion if you have already spent the money from a robbery, you are safe from prosicution.

RINOs hate Conservatives more than they hate Socialist Liberals! If it were not for this hate today Conservatives would control the Senate. The RINOs run around accusing the Tea Party of action they themselves have committed they are no better than the Socialists they clandestinely support.

      • JoJo

LOL that’s what RINO’s are…progressives, just like thee liberals. They’ve been playing both sides of the fence for years. In 2010, right after the election a promenent GOP figure declared that the GOP was going to c0-opt the TEA party. If Romney gets the nod, the GOP is close to doing it. Who ends up being elected in the senate and house will be more telling. Hopefully there will be more Marco Rubios, Alan West and Michelle Bachmann’s elected.

        • ANTICRIME

ANYONE that has studied Marxism knows that the BEST way to control ANY large body that is a THREAT to them is through….INFILTRATION!

        • ANTICRIME

CONCERNING MARCO RUBIO, whom I supported; I wrote him a scalding letter after finding out that HE was among the 93 TRAITORS that voted FOR the NDAA that nullifies our 4th, 5th and 6th Amendment Constitutional rights, mainly to DUE PROCESS OF LAW!

Obama has signed this bill into law BUT, in truth, it is totally INVALID as; (1) Obama is NOT Constitutionally eligible to sign ANY Bill, (2) ANY law or mandate that violates the U.S. Constitution is AUTOMATICALLY NULL & VOID!

ALL in law enforcement and our military that TRULY UNDERSTAND what their OATHS MEAN will NOT enforce any unconstitutional laws!

          ~JOIN OATH KEEPERS~

          • Dennis

He needs to be voted out next time around, what a little lying bastard he turned out to be.

          • lilolady

Marco Rubio is no more eligible to run for president than Obama. His parent’s were not ANY kind of American Citizen at the time he was born. I believe that they have since become Naturalized Citizens. This means he may not even be considered as Vice President, because he would then be in direct line of succession should anything happen to the president. He is however, doing a fantastic job. I am proud to say that McClintock of California voted againist NDAA. You can see how the vote went by googling it.

          • Pathfinder0100

Re-read Anticrime’s post and act!! E-mail your Senators and Reps about NDAA and join oathkeepers!!

          • DocJohnM

I took the oath three times in the military, ” to defend from all enemies, foreign and domestic.” I feel I’m still under that oath, even as a disabled vet. Man have we got domestic enemies in the USA and one is in the White House giving aid and comfort to terrorists. It’s long been held that there is no negotiating with terrorists, not under Obama. They are his brethren.

        • wog1

Is a RINO more evil than a progressive. Probably because with a progressive, at least you know where they stand but a Rino is evil through and through.

        • Dennis

You can stick Marco Rubio right up your azz, i hope you know that boy wonder voted for the NDAA ACT.

      • http://facebook ADRoberts

RINOs are chameleon Democrats. They have to check ahead of time to make sure the socialist agenda will be passed before they will vote against it. If it is in doubt, they vote with the socialist/Democrats.

Haven’t you figured out that is why a lot of voting records are so inconsistent?

      • Rocky

I am with you on not allowing odumbocrat from being put on the ballots in
any states,he doesn’t qualify he probably entered our country on a green card and hasn’t left, why wasn’t our leaders concerned about him before now, were they told to butt out by kissinger and his ilk,he is delusional at
best maybe his age has something to do with it,he doesn’t serve us in the best interest of the USofA,we just got rid of a couple of tyrants over in
Syria,do we need to do the same here in our country to get rid of any tyrants experimenting their ideas on us,the Judge will be here shortly and if he doesn’t go away (obummer) he will face judgement in front of
        all of us!

        • Rocky

One more item,it won’t be under the sharia laws either,it will be under “Gods Law,”he won’t be able to dodge that day and what a
“DAY” that will be “VICTORY”for all concerned.

WHAT HAS SCREWED UP THIS COUNTRY, IS WHEN THE AMENDMENT WAS PASSED TO ALLOW SENATORS TO BE ELECTED. THE FOUNDERS GOT IT RIGHT WHEN SENATORS WERE TO BE “APPOINTED BY THE STATES” . THIS WAS TO STOP PEOPLE ELECTING PEOPLE TO GIVE THEM MONEY IN EXCHANGE FOR THEIR VOTE. IT WAS TO GIVE THE STATES SOME RIGHTS. THE PEOPLE’S HOUSE,, THE STATES’ SENATE……. THAT WAS TO STOP THE PEOPLE FROM ROBBING THE TREASURY… REVOKE THAT AMENDMENT AND SAVE THE REPUBLIC…..

          • http://Cowboybyte Jim

The 17th Amendment, and it needs repealling…

          • Archangel

I agree, the direct election of Senators provided by the Seventeenth Amendment has taken us one step further from a REPUBLIC and brought us one step closer to a Democracy. Because of the Seventeenth Amendment, the Two Senators from each State have become nothing more than two additional glorified representatives which defeats the concept of a Republican form of government envisioned by the Architects of our CONSTITUTION! Repeal the Seventeenth Amendment and return to the original Constitutional process of our Republic!

Just copy and paste those links into your browser to look these people up.

          • Fed Up Believer!

During the 2010 election cycle I launched an under-funded attempt at the Republican nomination for the 1st District House seat in WV. One of my major points was the need to repeal the 17th Amendment so that the states regained a voice in the federal government. With the passage of this amendment, the downfall of our COnstitutional system was begun and has continued with little ability to resist to the present day. Until that is fixed, it is almost impossible to regain control of the government because as long as the Senate can depend on lobbyist money to get re-elected they will have no loyalty to their constituents or the state they are supposed to be representing. Sad that more people are not knowledgeable enough of the intent of the founders when they crafted the Constitution. Everything they did made total sense. The degree of perfection encapsulated in the Constitution bears evidence of Providential oversight and guidance. Unfortunately, it is being thrown away though apathy and ignorance.

          • shannon853

and here lies the peoplem, they are elected by districts of a state and hense are state employees! they need to be forced to be within state borders except 4 times a year when they go to congress and present the bills they were asked by their voters to present to the whole congress instead of selling to teh highest bidder!

Me also, provable since 1838.I live in one of the contested districts and so far nothing changed but the new names on the wannabe list.Which is just as good because I will not vote for any of the rinos in office now if they have any credible republican running against them.I am sick and tired of thm caving into opileofsheet.

Unless u r Indian American or meso American Which means
          Mexican because
Parts of America were stolen from Mexico so you are the illegal you are a big Hippocrate because you use illegals every day from the food you eat to the dry clean, your car wash, your maid Ohh I forgot you can’t afford one, look they just passed a law in georgia that illegals can’t work there so the farmers could not find any lazy ass white people
That so they are going under whites don’t want low paying jobs were illegals will take them But I got to do some thing I will give you more info latter.
          White trash no teeth bitch!

          • Jag for America

clh: “….you use illegals every day…” America doesn’t USE these cockroaches, they volunteer to be used by un-American employers! If they are stupid enough to be used by Obama, Bush and their Ag friends, TOUGH!

          • Billn

“elh” it seems you have been badly misinformed or it may be your personal bigotry. But when Georgia sent their illegals packing there were 23,000 lazy white and black people applied for those “low” paying jobs you spoke of. I am glad to see that you acknowledge that these people were illegal aliens, maybe there is room for a solution to the “illegal” problem.

          • GIVEMEFREEDOM

            GET OUT! . . . . and STAY OUT!

          • Randolph Goeman

BS. If you read history , after the war with Mexico in the 1830′s. the U.S. BOUGHT the land from them. It was all desert & no good at the time. The USA people built it up, Now the Mexicans want to steal it back with all the farmland & buildings on it.

          • Jstarusa

        • yukonron

It isn’t just Texas, they think that Az, N.M. Ca, Ut and Nv are all part of Mexico, and they are willing to do what ever it takes, to get them back, even if it means destroying them through illegal immigration.

          • Jag for America

They already have taken over and destroyed Mexifornicate, formerly known as California!

        • Herr Capitan Fick

YEP! Quiet, The Texans doesn’t know it yet, still sleeping you know! George Bush, Rick Perry! They sure like the Mexicans!

    • June

A heartwarming example of a Texan trying to help.

I saw a Muslim extremist fall into the Rio Grande River near Laredo this morning.

He was struggling to stay afloat because of all the guns and bombs he was carrying.
With him was an illegal Hispanic.
He too, was also struggling to stay afloat because of the backpack of drugs strapped to his back.
If they didn’t get help, they’d surely drown!

I, being a responsible citizen, informed the Webb County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security.

It is now 4pm and they still haven’t responded.
I’m starting to think I wasted two stamps…

      • Majjohn

        good one!!

      • Harold

June; you are FUNNY! The last line/the punch line, is PERFECT!!!
BUT! Let’s quit calling those people who espeak eSpanish…..’hispanic’! That word is a made-up word. It was the work of a female member of the White House administration about 35/40 years ago. Her instructions came from the Oval Office……..she was supposed to gather business prople and others who spoke eSpanish, to form a think tank, and come up with a ‘catch-all’ (my terminology)term for all of the ethnic groups in the U.S.A. who espoke eSpanish. The think tank came up with the (made-up) word, “Hispanic”. And, slowly, but surely, the term became used more and more over the years, giving the government a nice, handy, little ‘umbrella’ term to use when they wanted to cater to all of the peoples (those ethnic groups) who espoke ‘Hispanich’ OPPS! ….did I misspell the name of their language?

Hey Kenny, why don’t you patrol your borders a little better,

  • CAllenDoudna

Oh for crying out loud! They’ve over-played the Race Card so many times they’re provoking a backlash that will set race relations back to the Jim Crow days and it will be a good fifty years before another generation of Whites gives a damn again.

    • ldmstr

When will we let Jim Crow laydown and die??? It is the calling card of the vocal left. Everytime a republican brings up a racially sensitive issue the left brings up Jim Crow. He is the strawman for racial issues. Let it go and move on. Republicans are not interested in stopping the different races from voting because they are waking up to what the dems have done to them over the years. So let Texas set up their districts how they please and let the people vote. It all comes out in the wash eventually.

      • weary conservative

What ISN’T a racial issue anymore? Any time you disagree with ANYTHING the dictator says or does, it has to be a race based. Blaaaaa, bullsh!t!

        • Brain Dr.

Those who scream the loudest claiming racial discrimination on any issue are usually the ones who profit from it the most.

        • Mike Tanco

If they cared as much about where Ojerko was born as they do about him being a half Black/half White, we wouldn’t be in as bad a situation as we’re in right now. This POTUS has never had a job. He has been given everything since he moved to the U.S. from Africa. Check his background in Hawaii and you’ll find out the guy or his family have been deceiving people a long long time.
Muslim money and money from George Soros bought him the Presidency in 2008, and they will try it again in 2012. Americans had better wakeup soon or we’re dead in the water. Mike Tanco

        • Elwood

The definition of racism? Anything that can be interpreted as criticism in any way of the boy in the White House! Frankly, I don’t care what color he is. His skin could be as white as the driven snow and and he could be Scandinavian, German or Scotch-Irish, I would still vote for whomever the Republicans run on their ticket.

        • Insurgent

The price America pays for the southern plantation owners buying slaves grows more every day!!!!!!!!!

        • Lonnie

This is the version of Atlanta where everything, EVERYTHING is a racial issue gone wild. It is not real, just a means to suppress discussion. Sadly we have none with the backbone to actually discuss and dismiss the fallacy of so many times and places where this coin of the democrats is employed. Obama has reinstituted racial strife and envy just like his punish the rich strategy. It seems to have stymied any and all discussion and rationality. If you want to look at racism, try the congressional BLACK caucus or the naacp. These people will never let racism die or work to diminish it.

        • Jstarusa

The “Peacemaker” has not only instigated a class war, but a race war also. Will they revoke his peace prize? I doubt it!

        • Blackhawk

Obama has done more to hurt race relations than ANY previous President. He has turned the clock back to the early 60′s.
The Congress elected today keep them in control because blacks thing they GIVE them more. They vote their freedoms away.Maybe the educated blacks have finally seen the light and the deception the liberals have purchased them on.

For the uninitiated, Jim Crow laws were a creation of the Southern Dixiecrats. Yes Dixiecrats, NOT Dixiepubs! They remained in force until the DEMS decided it was better to use the black vote to serve their progressive power grab. To listen to the DEMS always framing the situation, you’d think the REPS were the one’s who instigated those terrible laws. Maryland is a state that has NO political power, so no one pays attention to the DEMS constantly fiddling with redistricting to make sure that no Republican can possibly gain office. One (Andy Harris) did last election, so they are at it again!

      • Dingbat36

The Republican Party was founded almost 160 years ago
with the primary objective of curtailing the spread of slavery
and ultimately ending it. The first Republican President was
Abraham Lincoln, and the “Radical Republican” congress-
es of the 1860s passed the constitutional amendments abol-
ishing slavery and making the “freedmen” citizens.
Every single piece of Civil Rights legislation in the last 150
years — every single one of them! — saw a greater percent-
age of Republicans in both houses voting aye than Democrats.Conversely, every single Jim Crow law in the South — in
every town, every county, every state, for over 100 years! — was
proposed by a Democrat, passed by Democrats, enforced by
Democrats, and upheld in court by Democrats.
History clearly illustrates that the African American has
had no greater friend than the Republican Party, and no greater
oppressor than the Democrat Party. To paint today’s Republican as a bigot because he won’t vote for Obama is tantamount to saying that
anybody who is not a Democrat must be a bigot. Can you say STUPID?

        • jimbo999

Don’t forget that it was Democrat Governors standing in the schoolhouse doors to prevent Black children from going to school. And the KKK was formed by the Democrats to terrorize Black people. There were never any Republicans in the KKK. All of the gains made by Blacks in the last 150 years were given them by the Republicans. The “gifts” given by the Democrats ahve kept Blacks in economic slavery, and have destroyed the Black family and made them wards of the state, except for the people who refused to take the handouts and did for themselves..

          • Bhudda

Get the black vote , racial profiling, affermative action ,political correctness .and the black caucus not to forget viva la raza and the hispanic league.Just a few government racial equallity groups to show that we are all EQUAL .Where does the mainstream stand ? An all white country club in Georgia was forced to allow blacks under a court order . If the minorities weren’t shove up your butt you would acept the easier. Not to mention the society allows the minorities to use a race card . If I stood outside a court room and said they only did this because I’m white ,who’ld care?

          • Insurgent

Ya think maybe we could borrow one of their ropes?

          • Don

I am wondering why the Democratic party doesn’t understand what you are saying and doing. I guess it is that they don’t want to see it any other way. So what they have done is put enough pressure on the Blacks that if they don’t vote the democratic way, it will be curtains for them! What a party!! It surely isn’t the real American way! All Amerian people are created as equals, but not according to the Democratic party, I guess! An this bozo we now have as president, is continuing their way as well as beginning a change that would bring Islamic law, Sharia, into being for our country! God forbid! We must get this illegal, socialist, kenyan muslim out of office NOW before its too late. IMPEACHMENT is the way to go NOW, not waiting for the 2012 elections! Come on US House of Representatives, get this process going IMMEDIATELY! Otherwise, America as we once knew it will be lost forever. GOD SAVE AMERICA!!!

        • fedupinky

So why is it then that at least 90 to 95% of the Afro-American community continues to vote for Democrats? Don’t any of them know their history or do they just not give a d_mn? They need to wake up and realize who has been putting the screws to them for generations.

          • Don

Absolutely they don’t!! They most likely will remain asleep for the 2012 elections!

        • ABO

It was called the “Solid South” because it was solidly Racist and solidly Democrat. Democrats like George Wallace vowed to block anything and everything those worthless Republicans did to help blacks become integrated into our free society. The Civil Rights Act was written and pushed through Congress by Republicans. Democrat President Lyndon Johnson signed the bill only because his advisors told him that if he did not it would be political suicide. He decided that he could twist it to his political advantage and it worked perfectly. As much as Johnson hated blacks, he is now thought of as the President who gave blacks their civil rights. They’ve been doing this for decades and the Republican party hasn’t yet figured out how to put a stop to it. Being honest and putting out the truth certainly hasn’t worked.

      • ActionJackson

They’ll never let it go because every time it comes up, they get another chance to re-write history to meet the day, maybe even embellish it a lot more. Like Chris Rock says, even black people hate n-words.

        • http://Windows Brad

Well, if they do, it’s not being passed on to their children. I was in a housing development about two months ago, sitting at the curb, waiting for my niece. Teen agers, both bloack and white, were standing in the street talking. I could hear them very plainly and none of them cared. One of the black teens was talking to another black teen, using the “N” word, at every other word. So, it may not mean a thing to other blacks, but when they use it, even amoung themselves, it keeps the word “alive”… regardless of what Mr. Rock says.

      • Amazedamerican

Without the race card the left has nothing. That’s why we have a nothing president now. The race card! Wake upAmerica. The biggest racists in the country are the democrats . They own the black population. They are the plantation owners now!

        • John Detwiler

As fot the Democrats being biggist racist, that needs to be amended to amoung the whites they are. But truthfully the biggest rqacist are the Blacks. What do you suppose would happen if the politicians were to create the congressional white caucas? Or the citizens were to have a White Miss American pagent. Or a magizine called White that featured the white race?
Untill all this reverce discrimination and out right discrimination there will always be a devided people. If you want to see how racism can be defeated, just watch the small children. They aren’t paying any attention to their playmates color. Unfortunately those who do are encouraged by the adults who continue this madness. After all if a person’ no matter what color of their skin’ is cut they ALL BLEED RED BLOOD. Does that tell you something?

Four new seats in Texas? Redistricting?

It seems to me that where those seats are leaving is important too. I can only wonder if the seats are coming from. Like blue states NY or MI?

  • C Maloney

Supreme Court should rule for Texas and all states that re-districting MUST be done by a non-political body or by population maps at random and devoid of any details. Otherwise I won’t be living in a democracy

        • Goodforall

There is a huge difference. Obammy thinks we live in a democracy-that’s why he does the things he does and wants the government to be an end all for everyone. I choose the Republic, as it was intended by our framers. Thomas Jefferson warned us-boy, was he ever right!

          • bobarino

Obama thinks he is a King or at the very least a dictator. Laws mean nothing to him or the liberal dems. I think he see’s himself being the leader of the ” new world order “

The United States of America is a Republic. How about forcing our government schools to teach real history. It’s about time someone forced them to. I purchased a trut history book for my grandchildren so they won’t fall into the Democrats trap of not teaching history from the beginning of our once great country. Lets get obama out of the office of president and get a real American in his place.

Jean, teach your children the Megna Carta 1215(also known as the Great Charter of Freedom.), its the most important paper in history, our 1787 Constitution was derived from it. The Megna Carta is not just for American Citizens, its actually for the people of the world. Its what gives the people their power over governments. The Megna Carta can be used to stop this tryannical government. It gives We the People power to form Grand Juries. an through those grand juries, our Constitutional form of Government can be restored to what it should have been or atleast close too it.

          • poacher

it would be better to get government out of education. marx considered government schools to be important enough to make it a plank in the manifesto.
now we have government brainwashing/conditioning/programming centers–aka—government schools.

        • Dingbat36

I have been in many a courtroom in 4 different states (NOT as a defendant but as a juror) and I have never seen a gold fringed flag in ANY of them. Where the heck do you live?

        • kim

MLH, Most courtrooms in the United States DO HAVE Gold fringe on the American flags. The court systems of the United States are actually illegal an UnConstitutional an most practice an rule under international law. Once one passes those little wooden gates, you are in an international court, even the US Military can’t help you.
The American Bar is an offshoot from the London Laywers Guild an was established by people with treasonous goals in mind.
Lawyer and Lawyer-Judge Courts are UnConstitutional under Article IV Section 4 of the U.S Constitution.

        • buzz

MLH you are so right the gold frindge on the American flag is a battle flag, but since we are not replacing it with just the American it shows that the government is in constant battle with the American citizen. jmho

That was before the last presidential election.

Now we live in a Demokratik People’s Republik. The Supreme Court gets to decide who’s people and who isn’t. The ones who are deemed “not people” get to work to pay taxes to support “the people.”

“Republic” is the form of Government and “Democracy” is the the method by which makes its dictates….Hince nimwit it is called as such when referring to how matters would and will be decided!
Did you ever hear of a place called Russia! or East Germany they both are Republics as well or better yet the Peoples Republic of China..also a Republic.
They have more appointed Officials than they have voted Officials. The public has very little voice in what they do if any, and you do what the hell the Chairman says and that is called Communism! Which is basically what we have now with Obama if anybody has not noticed!
When people like C Maloney makes comments especially concerning Voting and his quote is correct because we live in a Republic that because our court system is supposed to be officiated and our vote is supposed to be officiated in a democratic process! That is why we have a bill of rights and the voting system that has been so perverted that the fathers of this Country set forth. Most of you here have no Idea of anything you are saying and it is evident you slept through class and never pursued more than a high school education if that!
You must have read it off of some radical Cyber Idiot Blog!
IF YOU CAN”T GET THAT, THEN MOVE TO CHINA AND SEE THAT REPUBLIC WORKS!!!!

        • Jlcapps

          Southerner,

Just because a country calls itself something doesn’t mean that it actually is, in this case a republic. We all know that China and Russia aren’t republics.

          Democracy Versus Republic

These succinct definitions of what is Democracy and what is a Republic was produced by the US Army in 1928,  These definitions have been quietly withdrawn since, soon after.

          Democracy:
          A government of the masses.
Authority derived through mass meeting or any other form of “direct” expression.
          Results in mobocracy.
Attitude toward property is comunistic-negating property rights.
Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate. whether it be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences.
Results in demagogism license, agitation, discontent, anarchy.
Democracy is the “direct” rule of the people and has been repeatedly tried without success.
A certain Professor Alexander Fraser Tytler, nearly two centuries ago, had this to say about Democracy: ” A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess out of public treasury.  From that moment on the  majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that Democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a Dictatorship.”
A democracy is majority rule and is destructive of liberty because there is no law to prevent the majority from trampling on individual rights. Whatever the majority says goes! A lynch mob is an example of pure democracy in action. There is only one dissenting vote, and that is cast by the person at the end of the rope.

          Republic:
Authority is derived through the election by the people of public officials best fitted to represent them.
Attitude toward property is respect for laws and individual rights, and a sensible economic procedure.
Attitude toward law is the administration of justice in accord with fixed principles and established evidence, with a strict regard to consequences.
A greater number of citizens and extent of territory may be brought within its compass.
Avoids the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy. Results in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment, and progress.
Is the “standard form” of government throughout the world.
A republic is a form of government under a constitution which provides for the election of:
          an executive and
a legislative body, who working together in a representative capacity, have all the power of appointment, all power of legislation all power to raise revenue and appropriate expenditures, and are required to create
a judiciary to pass upon the justice and legality of their governmental acts and to recognize
          certain inherent individual rights.
Take away any one or more of those four elements and you are drifting into autocracy. Add one or more to those four elements and you are drifting into democracy.
Our Constitutional fathers, familiar with the strength and weakness of both autocracy and democracy, with fixed principles definitely in mind, defined a representative republican form of government. They “made a very marked distinction between a republic and a democracy and said repeatedly and emphatically that they had founded a republic.”
A republic is a government of law under a Constitution. The Constitution holds the government in check and prevents the majority (acting through their government) from violating the rights of the individual. Under this system of government a lynch mob is illegal. The suspected criminal cannot be denied his right to a fair trial even if a majority of the citizenry demands otherwise.

      • pistolero

Stick around a while longer and you will be living in “banana republic” with “king oboooma” as it’s dictator.

    • susan

If you live in the United States, you do not live in a democracy, you live in a Republic.

    • http://i niles

You live in a democracy? Where do you live? It can’t be America, it won’t be a democracy until Obama is defeated. Right now it is a monarchy. Headed by his majesty Obama.

      • kenny1801

        You got that RIGHT, Niles!!!

      • jayleigh

Actually, it has always been called a “democratic republic” – the democratic part of it means we get to vote – the “republic” part means that we have a representative form of government – in other words, the aggregate vote of the voting population puts a “people’s representative” into office who then is supposed to abide by the will of the people who sent him/her to office. So, that means that we don’t vote on every single issue; we vote to have a representative (either in the house or senate) make laws and regulations that are in accordance with the will of the constituents. However, what we have sent to D.C. in the last 50 years have been a group of people who have garnered power rather than listen to the will of the constituents “back home.” Term limits for both H & S would stop that nonsense because no one could be in D.C. long enough to own the chair in which they sit! But, we are a Democratic-Republic! Now, you all need to go back and take the requisite classes that we ol’ folk took in Civics, American History, U.S. Constitution and the Founding Documents. You quibble over terms when neither side got it correct. Now, go to school board meetings and demand that multiculturalism be tossed out and the “American” classes be put back in. But, be sure they use materials actually written from the original documents – NOT by revisionist historians. So, stop wasting time arguing about whether we are a democracy or a republic! We are both!

        • Dingbat36

Not, jayleigh!! You might do better to read the founding documents than the newspapers, whose reporters get it wrong just like you!!

        • Southerner

jayleigh…..Evidently the Cyber Idiots here want to give up their vote and allow Obama’s Czars and Henchmen decide everything for them. They could do that and it would still be a “Republic” just like China (The Peoples Republic of China).
The Democratic process is what gives us a voice in the Government, the right to vote and the right to group and form together to protect our liberties and freedoms. If we only lived in a Republic then tomorrow they could say “let’s outlaw the Tea Party…because they are not serving the common interest of the people”.
Most of the people here have no clue as to what the responsibilities of the House of Representatives is, or even what are the responsibilities of the Senate are, or how they operate as a joint body called the Congress!
I can give you a list as long as your arm of “Republics” in the world but many of them don’t dictate policy or legislate by way of a Democratic process!

          • Jeff Scism

The major difference between a democracy and a republic is that in a democracy it is always majority rule.

In a Republican form of Government, which by the way is GUARANTEED in the Constitution, the minorities are protected by checks and balances.

The old adage is that a democracy is two wolves and a rabbit deciding on the lunch menu. The Rabbit although having a vote is always eaten by the majority.

Republics if properly done under OUR Constitution have protections to prevent the rabbit getting eaten.

Most communist and socialist republic have a voting system, but their laws are geared toward the Government being supreme, not the PEOPLE.

          • Southerner

Jeff I have a challenge for all you people who keep calling Democracy a form of Government. Name one country that has Democracy as a form of Government in this world?

            There is not any!!!

    • Rene

This Nation is supposed to be a Representative Republic, not a Democracy, you watch too much TV.

      • JVB

        Then so does Obama….

      • jayleigh

Democratic Republic is the correct term!

      • Southerner

Rene…. Show where you got that term from “Representative Republic” because if you knew anything about Communism that is exactly the term that Lenin’s Communism used! “представитель Республики” …Preskadische lescumblika!
Show me one text anywhere that describes this Government in such terms!

    • David in MA

your not anyhow, it’s a Constitutional Republic!

      • jayleigh

Well, actually up until the crazy 60s, we were taught in school that the correct term is Democratic Republic – you can say, i guess, “constitutional republic” but that’s redundant. A Democratic Republic MUST have a constitution in order to work. The constitution spells out the rights and duties of both citizens and “representatives.” A democratic republic cannot exist unless there is a legal document (constitution) that spells out these laws. So, if you want to say “constitutional republic” you are only partially correct. There can never be a representative form of government that is not governed by a set of rigid rules like what we call “the constitution.” Dictatorship do not have a “constitution” – they have mandates. In pre-WWII Germany under Nazi domination, they had LAW – and basically it has been said it could be summed up in this sentence, “If it was not expressly ALLOWED, it was thus FORBIDDEN.” A constitution is not just a set of laws by which the citizens must abide, but it also sets forth their rights (as in The Bill of Rights) that explicitly sets out our rights as well as sets forth the limitations of governmental control. Our U.S.C. has been abridged many times over the last 50 years in a power-grab by the career politicians – term limits would end this. Then, a Constitutional Convention could be demanded so that the morass of socialist junk that has been added to it over the years could be stripped from the purity of the original document. One of the first things that must be stripped is the right of agencies to make law and impose penalties – that right belongs to the 3-pronged form of representative government – not the judges, not agencies – but we’ve allowed it to creep in year by bloody year!

        • Jeff Scism

Several amendments have undermined the Constitutional freedoms, the 14th and 17th come to mind.

      • FREEME

DAVID you are right, we’re suppose to have a Constitutional Republic, however when dictionaries, books, history is tweaked and twisted from one generation to next, is it any wonder people are confused?
CONFUSION CREATES CHAOS, LIES CREATE CHAOS, insidiously CHANGING TERMS AND DEFFINITIONS CREATES CHAOS AND INSTABILITY. Is it any wonder we have what we do today?
CIA decides what ‘name’ to label ‘governments’ if that gives you any clue.
RACIAL ISSUES ARE CREATED TO DIVIDE THIS COUNTRY, as if
education indoctrination, class warfare, politics and religion werent enough!
END the political correctness BS, and lets get back to truly communicating whats on our minds and in our hearts instead of the socially engineered behavior modification we’ve all succumbed to.

        • Southerner

Where do you people get these “home brewed” terms that express such an absence of any real knowledge of even what our government is? Makes about as much sense as saying “Legal Laws”.
Constitutional Republic???? Representative Republic???? Show me where it is written as such! I love to learn! The CIA decides???
If you people dress like you speak…then I am glad I do not live near the majority of you!
Knowledge, wisdom and understanding can go a long way! But ignorance can run endlessly among the the uneducated!

      • Southerner

David you are confusing matters my friend. The Constitution is what declares it will be a Republic and the method it operates under by way of the Constitution and Bill of rights is called a democratic process. Therefore when someone refers to the United States as being a ” Democratic Republic” it clarifies us from all the other republics of which many are communist! That is why they called Russia the “Union of Soviet Socialistic Republics”

    • CAllenDoudna

Non-political body, huh? Well now some government officials are going to have to choose who will be on this “non-political body”. Government officials are politicians, correct? So which politicians are going to choose this “non-political body”?

    • ABO

You don’t live in a democracy, CMaloney, the US is a constitutional republic.

  • http://mozilla Robert E. Lee

redisricting was invented by the Dumocrats remember;; it was established so BLACKS could be assured they had a majority of blacks voting FOR BLACKS enabling them to gain seats in the congresses; otherwise there was not enough of them proportinately in some areas to be represented by one of THEIR OWN. the whole scheme is racist, reverse discrimination;; once again giving them something they could not create on their own.

    • http://i niles

My friend there’s no such thing as reverse discrimination. There is only discrimination.

      • http://mozilla Robert E. Lee

MY FRIEND? there is discrimination against BLACKS; because they invented the term, when whites are discriminated against the process is reversed ;;dah, niles old BOY.

        • http://i niles

Discrimination is the prejudicial treatment of an individual based on their membership in a certain group or category. It involves the actual behaviors towards groups such as excluding or restricting members of one group from opportunities that are available to another group. The term began to be used as an expression of derogatory racial prejudice in the 1830s from Thomas D. Rice’s performances as “Jim Crow”.
Since the American Civil War the term ‘discrimination’ generally evolved in American English usage as an understanding of prejudicial treatment of an individual based solely on their race, later generalized as membership in a certain socially undesirable group or social category.[1]
Discriminatory laws such as redlining exist in many countries. In some places, controversial attempts such as racial quotas have been used to redress negative effects of discrimination. Not just blacks and whites but many races of many colors. Many Asian’s discriminate against others long before there was a black white issue. Dah, Robert old boy

Robert & Niles. Now now. Play nice. If you can’t be nice then take your semantics and go home. Niles, you are correct in your pasted definition of discrimination. But that does not void the phrase reverse discrimination. It’s perfectly valid. My impression is that it clearly defines a retributive or punishing action. But that’s just my opinion.

          • ldmstr

Snide niles, really snide. But right you are!!!

          • zac

Niles, if you’re so smart why aren’t you prez?

          • jayleigh

Yes, you are grammatically correct – “reverse discrimination” is a silly redundancy! However, discrimination has only become a “bad word” because of the racial overtones. It used to be a non-loaded word. For instance, it was a good thing to be known as someone who had “discriminating taste” in clothing, education, or interior decorating. But, the term has become so loaded with the racial baggage that we only think of it in terms of minority groups in America. In the 1800, Jews were discriminated against in NYC (other places, too in the USA, but the greatest concentration of Jews back then was in NYC); of course, in the South, the discrimination was against the blacks. In WWII, there was massive discrimination in America toward the Japanese – ie, the detention camps; in the midwest and other states that have a large concentration of Hispanics, there is discrimination against them. California has discriminated against the Hispanic population by having bilingual everything – the joke is that most of the Hispanics who come illegally can’t READ Spanish because they didn’t go to school in Mexico – not because they are stupid – so CA perpetuates the myth that bilingual education is best. So, yes, the term “reverse discrimination” is a silly term and it never has applied only to Blacks! But, during the late 1950s and 1960s, it became identified with the repression in the South of the Blacks. The myth of “separate but equal” was exposed and integration became the topic of the day. Redistricting WAS a democrats method of garnering the Black vote. It always surprises me that the Black population would follow them since it was the Southern Dems who kept them “separate but not equal” for all those years since the CW! But, when Republicans want to redraw the district lines, the Dems always cry foul!

      • Sutekh

Your friend probably also told you that no black person has ever died, but were actually just declared dead by racist white doctors and buried alive. That’s the reason for affirmative action in medical school admissions, no?

        • jayleigh

Heroes of great stature who did not need Affirmative Action to succeed – Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, Harry Peterson… AA could have leveled the playing field if it had not been handled simply on a quota system. And, if employers, schools, etc., had been allowed to choose the best candidate without having to “take” someone unqualified simply based on race. It backfired because often someone very unqualified for the job was hired because the “quota” had to be met or the organization would come under intense scrutiny by the Feds. The sad things is, that many truly qualified Blacks applied for work but were turned down because the employer was looking for someone truly unqualified for the job to try to prove that Blacks were inferior. i remember those years and it was awful! i had friends who were brilliant, but were passed over for jobs until someone “black” who was totally unqualified was hired and then when that person flubbed in the job, there was the great lie that “blacks just can’t hack it” and they aren’t “smart enough” to do anything but pick cotton. You can’t change people’s hearts by LAW! You have to change the heart and mind of a prejudiced person and then you don’t need the law that creates quotas and invites fraud and deceit. But, do i think AA was needed, yep – i just wish it could have been instituted in a better way – don’t know what that would have been – but laws don’t change the hearts and minds of those who prefer to perpetuate discrimination and hang on to their wrong-headedness.

          • Jeff Scism

unfortunately racial prejudice has to literally die out.

Those who were raised IN it, will always look at life through that filter.

The PROBLEM is that they pass that filter down to their offspring, and no amount of sensitivity training will be effective until that type of family education is diluted by time and generations.

What amplifies its continuance is social pressures ( including those within the victim group) which continue the language. (Use of the Term “nigger” is not okay for use by a white man, but a badge of honor from Black to Black, (some).)

If the term is allowed to expire then the concept will expire, but as of this decade it lives on. The same is true for many other “trigger words” still in use offensively.

Social dependence is a shackle against progress, but the dependent have to throw it off. What was designed to be a temporary aid, has become a permanent crutch.

          • Southerner

Jeff Scism……Beautiful thought! But not a reality! Discrimination is a tool of every greedy and power hungry politicians and person! Every politician for example that takes a extreme line becomes discriminatory in their policy or doctrine! Just like some who claim to be “Constitutionalist” get a free ride on the uneducated populace when in fact their stance and directives actually trample all over the Constitution.

      • Brain Dr.

Reverse discrimination….see Random House Dictionary inc., 2012 edition.
        noun,
” The unfair treatment of majority groups resulting from preferential policies, as in college admissions or employment. Intended to REMEDY earlier discrimination against minorities.”

      • Southerner

Niles for you information Robert E. Lee is using the correct term! It was a Judiciary term used originally in the sixties. Reverse Prejudice and discrimination is the term used when a former declared prejudice/discrimination insights the a greater or equal prejudice/discrimination by those who were prejudiced against formerly. It gives definition to the core and source of their prejudice and discrimination.
That is what gave us NAACP and Affirmative Action and even ACORN. Did people ever stop to think that most of the people who work in those organizations have never experienced real discrimination here in the United States? Civil Rights have been imposed for how many years now? For over 44 years and the little idiots in these Organization are real hate machines just like their big daddy Obama! That is the effect of reverse discrimination!

    • Randy

Yes, discrimination works both ways and is universal, beware!

    • Sutekh

The idea that an individual with the last name “Rodriguez” cannot represent a predominantly anglo district, or that an anglo individual cannot represent a predominantly black district is a totally racist concept. Blacks should have known that demanding full integration of a minority group that represents only 13% of the population (due to “Planned Parenthood”) would thin their predominance out. The political power that racist agitators demand could only be generated by blacks agreeing to recongregate in the ghetto areas that they wanted out of in the first place, for good reason. A fully integrated neighborhood by leftist activist definition would have about 13 black individuals for every 100 individuals living there. How do 13 people outvote 87 other people in order to impose their will on the neighborhood? If those 13 people decide that, because of their skin color, they have absolutely nothing in common with the other 87, the only solution is to resort to dirty tricks.

      • jayleigh

i absolutely agree! i have always had friends from many ethnic and cultural backgrounds and each has enriched my life. And yes, there are many fine, noble people in each race who would serve ably and without prejudice! You are right about redistricting via racial profiling is wrong – and it has no constitutional authority – districts should be drawn by the numbers of people of voting age, thus giving the number of representatives each state can send to D.C. (either Senate or House). But the Dems think ALL non-whites will vote for them because of their social policies. It is an insult to all non-white citizens to be classed as unable to provide for their own needs without social intervention by big brother gov! Just draw the lines by the numbers, not by the racial profile! That info shouldn’t even be extant so that when the lines are drawn, they never zig-zag around pockets of any one ethnic group! Gerrymandering at its finest!

  • CJM

Apparently Eric Holder needs those wetback votes to keep el heffe in office so he can continue to assist in dismanteling the US Constitution. Obviously, holder doesn’t understand that illegals are NOT PERMITTED TO VOTE! And besides, why are the federal judges drawing the maps? They are supposed to approve or disapprove of those maps submitted with a legal explanation for that judgment–any map disapproved is to be returned for revision.

    • Rachel123

You’ve got that wrong. Holder understands that perfectly. However, he is determined to ENABLE them to vote even though it is ILLEGAL for them to do so.

Why do you think zero and his cronies have been pushing so hard for amnesty since he took office in 2009? He knows he has already lost the election, the only thing he can do is import his votes by buying them from ILLEGAL aliens. He couldn’t get amnesty past the legislature, so now he is doing it by executive fiat, by issuing executive orders and having his flunky administrators REFUSE to enforce our immigration laws. That is dereliction of duty and a breach of his oath of office, but it’s ok because it’s King Zero who is doing it.

Remember: January 20, 2013 – THE END OF AN ERROR!

    • Tet Vet 1968

I’m from Nevada and the SEIU bosses hired buses to transport hotel and other Hispanic union workers to polling locations (2010 elections). These workers were instructed who to vote for and they were watched openly by SEIU thugs. Not one of them had to show ID or was their vote’s secret with the thugs looking over their shoulders. The polling volunteers did nothing to ensure the voters were registered or not nor did the voter have a secret ballot. After the dust settled we found out the polling volunteers were actually union members and had their agenda clearly stated. This is Harry Reid at his finest. The 2012 presidential elections will be decided by fraud and strong arms tactics. If Hussein see’s he is losing he will declare martial law and stop the election process.

      • guest

This, my friends, is too true. It has already begun with Iowa. Only a few votes this time but did Santorum win or Romney?

How different it would have been if redistricting on color didn’t exist. We would have been a mixture of Americans rather than divided.

It’s down to obama and NDAA or Ron Paul and the Constitution. It will be up to all of us to decide. For the time being, we ALL have the Constitution.

        • ldmstr

Lets see, if Ron Paul is elected he will be the president of the United States. Thats the first leg of our government. then comes the Congress and its issues getting anything done for the AMerican people. Then there are the courts which seem to be some overdone tennis club where they bat our laws around till it reaches the Supreme Court for final judgement. So with Ron Paul as pres will he become a dictator to the other legs of our government to bring about his vision of America or will he have to compromise withCongress to pass lawsthat will pass through the courts when they are rejected by the people.

Ron Paul talks well about protecting the Constitution and the rights of the American people but he is really scary when he talks about international issues. He is an isolationist and will lead us back into the 1930′s when we ignored what was happening around the world and we ended fighting the Second World War. Paul’s policies will lead us into a new war in the Middle East and it will end with nuclear weapons flying around creating parking lots in the middle of the desert. Paul isnotour answer to Obama.

          • guest

Umm we have more power in the House than Senate. The House is our collective representative. And yes, Paul will have to fight the establishment, that’s both sides of the repubs/dems.

At least Paul is a start. It took us 100 yrs to get here, hopefully, it won’t take but a couple election cycles to get us headed back to a sovereign country.

We weren’t ignoring what happened in Europe. We knew about the Jews. Just look at any old movie or read some of the old books. FDR’s New Deal wasn’t working and the war pulled us out of the Depression. (FDR’s policies extended the Depression.

Paul’s policies, hopefully, will prevent WWIII. obama is pushing every button to provoke war in the ME. Nukes in the ME? The only countries that we don’t attack are those who have nukes. We are the only ones to use them and THAT was after Japan already entered negotiations.

The ME has fought for thousands of centuries. It is a religious war (partially based on land).

We’ve been fighting (bombing, destroying economies) for as many years as I am old, and that is pretty old. For what? OUR oil barons.

We have enough resources to provide for us. How much longer should we bomb countries for oil?

          • Southerner

ldmstr…. Thank you sir! If you really understand the world we live in and the Spirit and intentions of the Fathers of this nation then you begin to understand that Ron Paul is really the opposite polarity of Obama on the same battery!

We can not get intimidated by the Mecca-Churian in the White House! We need a Voter Citizenship Verification where the person has to appear in person, and for each State to appoint citizen panels to approve or disapprove applicants for Absentee voting! Not some Obama Campaign Official making the call!
The word is on the Hill is Obama has said he will delay the elections if they push the issue, but if we don’t we may end up only taking this country back by force!

      • Jean

I would hope that our military would see thru obama, and refuse to work against the American people. In fact, I hope they force a legal election on obama. We need soldiers at all polling places to make sure no thugs are at ANY of them. I believe that a military takeover is our only safety net against the dems.

        • Dredtost

          Dear Jean,
Our military, all branches, swear their oath of allegiance to our Constitution, not a person! But how long would it take Obama to change that. Or like all dictators do, make them swear an oath to them! I could see obama winning, then if the dens regain power in the house, keep it in the senate and he stays in office, voting out term limits, don’t say it can’t/won’t happen, it was already discussed by some in congress 2 years ago. So no Jean, we don’t want our military involved because there are some that for rewards/power promised would do it for Obama irregardless of their oath to the Constitution!

          • jayleigh

Yes, the oath taken is to the Constitution and NOT to the President. He may be called CoC of the Armed Forces, but i do not believe that he could demand that the military support his take-over of the USA by calling for “martial law” at election time.

Obama doesn’t want war with the Arab nations! That’s pure silliness to say that. He IS a Muslim – what he wants is keep America’s eyes focused on the oil problem while the EPA denies us the right to drill for and refine our own oil so we can continue to enrich the Arab nations and embolden them to take over the USA – he dreams of being the ultimate Sultan-imam-messiah!

War with the ME would not be “over there” – it would be “over here” – all the flap about whether Iran does or does not have an ICBM nuke is moot – if they can’t fire one off this moment – they will have it within a very short time.

If Obama is at the helm when a war in the ME is declared, he’ll not be the shining star of the Arab-Muslim world. He wants the war brought HERE – why else do you think he’s set up concentration camps and demanded the authority to hold American Citizens without a warrant or trial and without the protections of the U.S.C.? Because he can put away dissidents who might actually keep him from his agenda.

Electing Ron Paul will achieve Obama’s goals of bringing war here! RP can’t do much with a do-nothing Congress unless he, like Obama, wants to go down that anti-U.S.C. path of saying, “If Congress won’t act, I’ll have to take matters into my own hands.” Paul will end up a frustrated old man saddled with a do-nothing administration and a grid-locked Congress.

The only thing that will stop grid-lock is 1) TERM LIMITS and 2) a Constitutional Convention to return the Constitution to its former glory, and 3) and end to the rights of agencies to make law (they can call it “regulation” if they want, but a regulation by any other name is still a law!) The infringement on individual rights has been subsumed under the policies of “for the greater good” philosophies. So, Paul is not the savior of the world, nor will he be able to do anything other than prove the USA is weak and submissive to Muslim rule, and that we have capitulated to Muslim authority. He has said he would put Muslims in government positions, he support gay marriage and gays in the military, and he has no understanding of the Muslim mind.

Obama bows to them and celebrates Ramadan TWICE in the WH but won’t make a supportive statement for the National Day of Prayer – he won’t wear and American Flag pin because “he doesn’t want to seem like a bigot by not recognizing the values in other nations”. He clearly understands that to the Muslim nations, he is saying, “We’re acknowledging your superiority; we capitulate.”

Paul doesn’t get it! He thinks that would make the nation safer if we pulled out of the ME, brought out ships and troops home. Yeah, that’ll do it – we’ll all be living in bunkers then like the Israelis in the Golan do! You vote for Paul, you vote for war on our own soil!

        • jayleigh

@ guest: “We weren’t ignoring what happened in Europe. We knew about the Jews. Just look at any old movie or read some of the old books.” What does that non sequiter mean? Is that a comment regarding knowing they were being exterminated OR that we knew they were a problem?

It’s a bit hard to know when that statement isn’t linked in any way to the remainder of your post.

If you mean we knew about what was happening to them by Hitler’s goon squads, then yes, i agree – we did nothing to stop it! If you meant that they were a “problem” in Europe, then i guess i don’t know how that opinion applies to the situation with Obama.

      • Herr Capitan Fick

What election process? The N A Z I S election was more honest than the American!

      • Dredtost

Very true Tet Vet! Look at the new third party being generated called “A.E.”! I just read it on Word Press a couple of days age! Is already under a different name now b/c a couple Dem. Groups questioned their tax status. “Deniability” already by Obama? Started in 2010 and just now surfacing in a couple of months! He will do anything to destroy this country! If he get’s back in in 2012 TetVet and to all of us it will be the end of this country as we have all gotten to know! Control of the Internet, foodstuffs, banking, healthcare, childcare, guns seized, every aspect of our life, all by Executive Order, bypassing congress!

    • Jeff Scism

Obviously the Motor Voter law was designed to give them the vote. Non-in-person registration takes out the possibility of validating lawful residence and citizenship status.

The Motor voter law allows registration by mail or in any Federal Government office, which are mandated to provide the documents unasked for. It also forbids the asking for citizenship status at the polls. Poll workers are FORBIDDEN to verify citizenship, or anything else other than name and registered address.

And yes unlawful aliens are voting through this process.

as they say in UNIONs and ACORN, Vote early and often.

  • Daniel L. Skillman

The only problem is that you have a completely corrupt and totally racist DOJ investigating and you have courts that have been stuffed with extreme leftists making rulings. Until Holder adn the other Obamaites are swept into the gutters where they belong and our courts are panelled by judges who have no political or other special interest connections, there will be no justice.

  • BhawbPat

Go, Texas, GO! I’m sick of Obama’s policies……..I’ll vote for Bozo the clown or Donald Duck, if they ren against Obummer….

Kimo Sabe is a nonsense invention of the Lone Ranger’s author, it has no meaning.

  • Texas001

Have you ever looked at some of the congressional district in the “uppa US”? see: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/findyourreps.xpd?state=MA&district=4 . This is Barney Franks’ district and is so arranged so that he can get the “alternative lifestyle” (queer) vote. Or the congressional district maps of Maryland districts, considered the most gerrymandered in the nation. Now the Supremes are going to set the districts in Texas because the democrats want the felons here from Mexico to be able to elect their own. Watch it will happen.

    • Guest

Is happeneing. Mexicans are now the majority population in Texas and New Mexico, and I suspect in Arizona. The border is wide open and they are pouring into the U.S. upsetting the balance of power and overtaking our government.

  • Jon Goult

It’s a STATE’S Right’s thing. Or should “WE” TEXAS become a REPUBLIC AGAIN? Has a Very Nice Sound, The Republic of TEXAS!

    • guest

Sounds good to me. Let’s have the 10th for all of us. Texas can start it off.

    • jayleigh

Yes, it IS a state’s rights issue! And the voting districts have been gerrymandered for years! Holder’s opposition to photo IDs and proof of citizenship shows exactly what the agenda is for the 2012 election process. In 2008, ACORN convinced green card holders that since they had a green card, they could legally vote. A client of mine from another country (NOT Mexico) was in the process of obtaining citizenship and was here legally. ACORN told her that since she had a green card and was taking the citizenship classes, she could vote! She did – they signed her up and gave her a ID card which she used to register to vote – and guess who she voted for? Bet you can’t figure it out, can you? i found out at her swearing in ceremony in the spring of 2009 that she’d voted in the 2008 election. Voter registration tables were set up so the new citizens could get their VR cards and i started to walk her over to that table to register when she told me she had already voted! Of course Holder and Obama don’t want photo IDs! She HAD a photo ID – she had a Driver’s License! She should have had to show naturalization papers at the poll because it was obvious that she was not born in America – her accent should have alerted the workers at the poll, but she didn’t even have to show a photo ID – just the fraudulent VR card given to her by ACORN. So, i have my B.C., and if i lived in a city where my precinct workers don’t know me, i’d have no problem showing it AND my DL and my VR card! i have NOTHING to hide! And, my BC is not photoshopped – it’s genuine – and is not a “certificate of live birth” – not the same thing as a Birth Certificate! Sounds the same, but it isn’t. When my daughter was born, the hospital gave me a “certificate of live birth” that the doctor signed. It showed the time and date, hospital, weight and length at birth, color of hair and eyes, etc., but it CLEARLY stated on it, “This is not a legal document.” It was more like a “souvenier” of her birth. i got the official BC a few weeks later with the raised notary stamp impressed on it. Only people with an ulterior motive refuse to support voter I.D. laws!

  • Dredtost

    CJM,
At one time in this republic in order to vote you had to be a land owner to vote. A “Terrible” thing! That was reversed! However another comment wasmade in 2008 after the election a comment was made that this was the first time people were elected by “Illiterates”!
Now i’m thinking with all that happened last time with election with voter “Fraud”, and voter “ID” issues separating legal and illegal voters, my thought is this, if people can sign up for “Entitlement” checks and walk to tbe mailbox to collect them, why can’t they provide ID to vote??
Now, one of my brother’s who still lives in Arkansas says this ( I vehemently disagree with him but live in a suburb of San Francisco) that 80% of the children are illigitiment and can’t name his/her father and/or don’t pay child support b/c the system can’t find them, he says if the people who vote can’t provide a legitimate ID of “some kind” then they cannot vote!
Of course I read in Reuiters in 2007 that one high ranking politician from Illinois (no, not Obama) was overheard stating that people of this race should only be educated enough to be able to mark an “X” on a ballot as many times as they can! I.e.that is their sole purpose in life! And have as many children as physically possible??
I don’t get it but I think my brother and wife are both “Racist’s and damn Bigot’s”! Both have children illigimately and neither takes responsibility for either! They both are Republican “b_____ds”!

    • David in MA

Consider the most often asked question
at the million man march years ago:
      Are you my daddy?

    • jayleigh

Well, you really presented a mixed bag, didn’t you? Not surprising since you live on the left coast. i used to live on the left coast, too, but that didn’t make me a lib. Being “illiterate” is not a reason to keep someone from voting as long as they are legal American citizens. There are many reasons a person might be “illiterate” – not many reasons in this day and age, but there are people with learning disabilities who are intelligent, but have difficulties with reading or writing, but do well verbally and in thought process, but they have difficulty with reading or writing. That shouldn’t preclude them from voting. I’m not sure what your point is about people who don’t support their children – are you saying they shouldn’t be allowed to vote, or are you saying that people who receive any form of public assistance should not be allowed to cast votes? So, you call Republicans the b-word, but it has been the Democrats who have gerrymandered districts and supported voting by illegal aliens and who consider ACORN a valid PAC! i guess i don’t get your point, but that’s probably because i left the left coast and got away from the corruption of the politics on that coast.

i am uncertain as to the intent of your opening statement about voters having to be property owners before they could vote. Are you in support of that philosophy, or against it? You didn’t make that clear. Of course, that kind of test for voter eligibility is totally wrong and would certainly narrow the voting base today, wouldn’t it? Thank goodness that was ruled inconsistent with the U.S.C. but what is your point about that? If you think a person shouldn’t be allowed to vote if he/she doesn’t pay child support, i think that would pose a difficulty because if no one can find the scofflaw, how will that rule be imposed? How would a voting precinct be aware that someone no one has been able to find is on the list of parents who have failed to pay CS? i know where my ex is who still owes me back CS, and i’m certain he votes in every election – but how would denying him the right to vote get me my money? If a precinct knows a voter in their area is behind in CS, why don’t they just notify the authorities and let them take the steps necessary to get that money he/she owes? How would keeping that person from voting “teach a lesson” about paying up?

i’m still trying to figure out what your rant supports – voter registration or not? Land owners being the only people who can vote because it shows they are fiscally responsible and pay taxes? My “land-owner” ex is behind in his CS since 1984! So, do you think that Democrats always pay their CS because Republican “b-words” don’t? i don’t get it. Who, in our estimation, should be allowed to vote?

The rule is, One American Citizen/One Vote! And the requirements are: Age and Citizenship eligible and the ability to understand the issues (ie, mental retardation, NOT illiteracy is the test). A Citizen must be able to VOLITIONALLY make an informed decision on HOW and for WHOM to vote) That has nothing to do with being able to read or write. If it did, it would exclude many LD adults from entering the booth. What ACORN and Holder wants is just what you described – “vote early and vote often” – they want people to go from poll to poll and vote – It happened in Nevada; there were more votes for Reid than there were registered voters – but the election was not determined fraudulent (as it should have been) and a monitored election rescheduled. The courts refused to do anything about it. They should have tossed the vote, rescheduled the vote and mandated voter photo IDs and possibly even BCs at the precinct! Reid would not have prevailed had that been the case.

CIVIL RIGHTS? IS THAT AN OXY-MORON< WE LOST OUR RIGHTS SO MINORITIES GET DISPROPORTIONATELY advantages, 25% of the population is just that, they are not the majority and need to be treated accordingly.

    • guest

This is simply not correct. Ever hear of Russian/Irish being a minority? How about Italian/Fin/Polish minority? No, and why? IT was much easier to divide on color. Even in color, the tribes were different but are not separated out to a specific minority.

All of us are to blame for this. And those Civil Rights? Guess what, they are the Bill of Rights. The rights that obama abolished under NDAA. There was no “color” distinction.

      • ldmstr

GOD bless you people killme??? Have you read the NDAA?? The Bill of Rights guarantees our rights under the law, soif we let our politicians write laws that violate our rights, then who is to blame??? Equal rights uner the law, not special rights above other citizens in our country!!

          True!

“Barack Obama’s Scheme To Overthrow Our Republic”
    ———————————————————————

Obama’s Fascist Scheme Has Five Components:

#1. Create A Personal Civilian Army That Will Eventually Number One Million Strong That Will Do Obama’s Will Without Question.—Notation: There Is A Link Below, That Shows Concrete Proof That The Creation Of Obama’s Personal Army (Called “The Ready Reserves Corps”) Has Already Been Implemented And Is Being Funded By Tax paid Obamacare, Authorized In Section 5210 on page 1312 Of “The Affordable Health Act”.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htw7shWR3oU

#2. Weaken The US Military.—Notation: How Many Of You Seen The News Lately? The Number Of Military Personnel Is To Be Cut In Half. Obama’s Personal One Million Plus Thug Army Will Eventually Have Twice The Number Of Troops That Our Regular US Military Will Have. Are You Comfortable With That?? TAKE NOTE: The US Military Will Also Be Scattered Around The World,Thus, Making Our Boys And Girls Weaker And Much More Vulnerable In Our Homeland. ALSO NOTE: Obama Promised To Form This Army During His Campaign To All The Scatter Brains Of America And The Majority Of Them Still Elected Him. Strange!

#3. Disarm The Populace, Seize All Weapons And Brand Any Patriot That Resists A Terrorist And Incarcerate Them In A FEMA Prison Camp. Can you say Martial Law?

#4. Use Intimidation, Blackmail, Threats, Bribes, Trumped Up Charges And Crony Appointments To Consolidate Power And Destroy All Opposition.

#5. Have The “Ready Reserves Corps” (Obama’s Personal Thug Army) Openly Attack Americans That Resist The Dismantling Our Republic.

      Dear Eli,
Do Not forget Obama’s Internet (Kill Switch)! This is already in place and has been in place before obama however, but changed by Obama! All he has to do is declare “Anything” a national security issue! Anything he wants!
      A brief explanation:
1). Look at all the illegal stuff he has done and all the bypassing of Congress he has done esp. this past year. It’s gotten so bad that no one hardly mentions it anymore.

Back to 1)., Obama will justturn off abusive that his Muslim friends, Party buddies, big business wants. Want more on this point? Why is he spending $$$ to get hi-speed Internet access to all (everyone) and in every household by 2014!
      He will control the press!

2)., Firearms, confiscate “ALL” firearms by “Executive Order” i.e. Presidential Fiat.

3)., has his own personal army, armed at least as or better equipped/trained as our military! He’s already got his personal hit list and neighbor reporting on neighbors! Think not, can’t happen, ever hear about his Obama “Attack Watch”?

Going back to 1). He shut down the web site called ” Bare Naked Islam ” or BNI. Word Press booted them after a complaint of threats to Muslims by people like us who participate in our free speech rights??? Except if we disagree with islam “the religion of Speech”! Well, it should be back in operation this week under a domain that has guts to stand up against islam and Muslims. I have nothing to do with BNI except write to them like we do here, I suggest that all who read this site go look them up and support them.
Sorry about being long winded tonite but I am passionate about our nation. And just look around us the past 3-5 years. Obama has lied, trampled “Our” Constitution, and has done more in his reign to destroy that all the wars we have ever fought!!! And right now, we are all “LOSING” it! We all have one last shot at redeeming our Great Country, and it’s called “Voting”! GOD help us and GOD Bless America and all the citizens who live, work, and die here!

    • jayleigh

Yep! That’s why we MUST defeat him in 2012! And why he should be IMPEACHED and jailed forever in a small cell in Leavenworth! Holder, too. This is one scary, dictator-minded man – he doesn’t sound smart, but he is wiley and untrustworthy! We are living n dangerous times. If he is not defeated in 2012, we’ll be slaves before the first year of his second term is over! Note his recent power grab – Congress has only wrung its collective hands and done nothing about this unconstitutional power grab!

      • Tom SC

Jayleigh, How do you expect to vote against the WH from a FEMA camp? There is apt to be no election in Nov. If anything is done it must be done now. There is no time to be appathetic, we need to get to our legislators and convince them of the urgancy in this matter. I don’t think our Court Judges realize where they stand and how vonerable they are to the fema gulag. The administration don’t need them or want them. Their DOJ will rule alone.

    • pistolero

Well Mr. Jones, yes I can say Martial Law….Can you say “ARMED REVOLUTION?”
Do you really think they can disarm everyone in this country who owns a gun(s)? As the saying goes; “there ain’t enuff cops (military) to do it)”. The citizens of this country make up the militia, at least according to the Constitution. We are the strongest and largest “military” in the world!!! Do you really think the veterans of this country are going to rollover and give up their guns because some jerk off says so?? Oh yes, many of those who live in the big cities will give them up because they think the guvmint will take care of them. Take care of them right into the concentration camps. The nazi’s pulled it off in the 30′s, but I don’t think WE are going to be so shortsighted. If it comes to it, there will be a third revolution in this country and unfortunately it will be long and bloody.

District bias; another example of CENTRAL PLANNERS trying to artificially manipulate the reality of facts on the ground to insure they are voted in to provide entitlements to losers. IT IS CALLED VOTE BUYING.

  • http://mozilla Robert E. Lee

HEY NILES; here are some facts for you to smoke on today;; 98% of blacks support Obimbo; that means they support his Marxist , socialistic, communist policies such as him taking my hard earned[I work for it] money and giving it to your auntie who has done nothing but have [5] kids by five different men;; get it? Conservatives believe your auntie should quit whining and get herself a job to support her sexual indiscretions.

    • guest

This has all changed. Besides, there were plenty of whites in that vote. And there are plenty of whites on welfare, thanks to no responsibility for males.

Welfare is only part of the downfall. Personal responsibility is the rest.

Women’s Liberation did more to free men of responsibility than freeing women from anything. “Free woman” is now dump the kid and move on. There’s a reason women are on welfare and men are not.

      • Red

They hatch welfare children inorder to receive monthly support of various kinds from government agencies. The majority have no idea who the fathers of these children are and could care less. Just keep them in food stamps, free health care, beer, wine, and cigarettes.

      • jayleigh

Men ARE on welfare! Whole families are on Welfare. i am elderly and worked for more than 40 years – most of the time TWO jobs to support my children without help from welfare. But, through the illegal Social Security Act, the government stole money from my paycheck each pay period and fed it into their illegal Ponzi scheme. My retirement accounts had to be raided twice to pay off medical bills, and so now that i am on the short list for death, i have had to ask my gov to give me back some of what they stole from me. i get a few dollars a month in food stamps and i get some energy assistance. i cannot afford the gas to run a furnace in my house so i have to rely on space heaters to keep warm in the winter here in the Midwest. AND, my kids have NEVER been on welfare. But you would deny me the little bit of assistance i get? That’s part of the whole Social Security fraud thing – if that money stolen from me each pay period had been put into an interest-bearing account with my name on it (because my dear Uncle Sam couldn’t trust me to save for my old age, right?) then 1) SS would not be a broken toy that will run out of money very shortly; 2) there would have been no temptation for Congress to use those supposedly designated funds for any other project they had in mind; and 3) i would have more than enough money to live on each month and would NOT need help from the SNAP program!

Now, don’t lump everyone who has been defrauded by SS into the same class as those who have no intention of working and refuse to do it under any circumstance! i still volunteer my time at a local community action agency (NOT political action group), and i teach classes at our state prison for women. But i am, as i say, on the short list for death. i can’t “take” without giving back what i am able. And frankly, i am ENTITLED to get back a portion of what i PUT IN over the more than 40 years of consistent employment!

Social Security should NEVER be used for anything other than reimbursing those who fed its greedy mouth.

If i had taken someone’s money, promising to return it in the form of a monthly payments that would allow a decent lifestyle in the post-work years of life, and then i did not set that money aside in an interest-bearing account to be available when promised, i’d be doing the remainder of my life in one of those fine vacation resorts called Federal Prison! But, the government does it and NO ONE holds the gov accountable. Instead, Congress says that if they give us a tax break, it will impact SS! Nonsense – those are TWO separate “taxes” on the W2! the tax break does not affect the SS theft at all! The answer is simple: Congress should mandate that all SS taxes collected be put into an aggregate interest-bearing account untouchable for any other purpose than the paying out of SS payments to those who EARNED them throughout their working years – OR put into individual interest-bearing accounts – and if the account-holder dies before reaching the age at which the funds can be accessed monthly, then the money plus interest should be returned to the heirs of the estate (or the heirs could opt to have it distributed to their own SS accounts to be held for their eventual retirement). But that money should never be considered free money to be used at will by any scam the gov runs!

True, but it does not give the judges the right to draw a completely new redistricting map based on nothing but their desire to add more Mexican members to the House.

A democracy is 51% of the population telling the other 49% what to do. When minorities breed themselves up to 51%, whitey is done. Why did all you crackers hoard all that ammo if you are not going to use it?

    • guest

The division lives on. The more we all come together the more the establishment tries to divide us.

The so called “browns” were considered white in TX and CHOSE to segregate. Ever wonder why blacks are not identified by tribe ancestry or browns not divided by country of origin? Look at the wealthy leaders, not the neighborhood.

The only way we should be divided is by illegal vs legal.

This is the Supreme Court case Plyver V. Doe. It eliminates Citizenship rights, because “There is no distinction between a US Citizen and any other person (illegal aliens in this case) under the law.” It further rules that if you provide a service of privilege to a citizen you MUST under the 14th Amendment provide that same equally to anyone who happens to be physically present.

This case was about GIVING education to illegal alien children, but the SCOTUS expanded it to ANY right or Privilege.

That means VOTING, DRIVING and staying in the USA forever.

Jim Crow is the only card the Democrats have in left to play. Americans are waking up to the
fact that Democrats are a racial organization bent upon playing all races against each other to
try and maintain control over the nation. As long as the can promote hatred and distrust among the American people they can keep their minions in poser and continue the road to
Socialism and obama in office to promote their dysfunctional form of government. They have
not love of America nor of Freedom just like most tyrant the love of total control over all aspect
of our lives for thier benerifts only.

    • guest

The repubs are in that too. The repubs signed NDAA. We are on our own to keep this nation together.

The only one vying to do this is Ron Paul. Even the other repubs on stage know he is the only one who knows the Constitution.

It amazes me that people are wanting a “different” alternative to the status quo and don’t recognize Ron Paul is the anti-establishment within the established party.

    • jayleigh

Most Dem pols are racist at heart. They have the “master” philosophy in that they think minorities of any race are not smart enough to make choices, so they have to patronize them and “buy” their votes with perks. There is no legal right for an illegal of any color or country to vote in American elections! Regardless of what a renegade lib court says. If that were not true, ACORN wouldn’t have told green card holders they had a legal right to vote because they had green cards and they wouldn’t have registered them without proof of citizenship – which they did in 2008. When i registered to vote the first time, i had to take my BC with me (at age 21, back then). i didn’t think that was an undue burden! i was proud to show that i was 21 and finally able to register. When i moved back to the midwest, the only thing i had to show was a utility, contract, or phone bill in my name. i had a checking account, and the precinct considered that a “contract” and registered me. i wasn’t offended by having to prove i actually lived in the precinct – but in 1986, the question of illegals voting was not a problem. But i have NO problem with presenting my BC to show i am an American Citizen with all the rights and privileges of citizenship! It’s time we got rid of the graft, the lib judges who make such un-U.S.C. rulings, and who want to implement European law and sharia law into their decision-making. They have no right to make law from the bench, but only to rule on cases based on existing law! Newt had one good idea: haul the law-making judges into D.C. and make them explain their decisions which created law, not adjudicated by it! i hope whichever Republican candidate makes it to the WH will see the value in that and DO it!

Obama’s “recess appointment” was only a “test the waters” deal to see how much wiggle room his power grab had. If they don’t stop him now, he’ll over-reach again until it’s too late and we’ll become a dictatorship. This election is a watershed election for certain!

Thats right CJM, we live in a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy , and if God is gracious to us we never will live in a damned democracy……..there is a helluva difference between the two . The reason the libs keep yelling, ” we need to spread democracy around the world” is that they would like to “infer” to our citizens , or suggest it so muchthat we are a democracy, that most will start believing it…..and by God, their ploy must be working……..with all of the people who keep referring to us as one .

    • Southerner

Jesse….where do you get these home brewed terms to us such a term is a declaration ” I do not know what I am talking about!” Show me a reputable book that declares such! Where in any of the writings of the Fathers of this nation used that term? Constitutional Republic???? And by the way the use of the word “Democracy” by the Democrats is nothing but a ploy on words to excite the supposed suppressed (In this case the Shiite buddies of Jihadist Hillary) to control the masses of ignorant angry people! They are well still chanting “Change” as well there!
Democracy if you had ever really studied it is not a form of Government but a process by which either we vote or the voted officials we voted for have a voice in the process of the Republic.

I’m somewhat confused…the article goes on to explain the population growth has grown and that of the growth 65% are hispanic… Are they LEGAL residents which have a right to vote or are they ILLEGALLY here, thus having no right to vote. To me that in itself would determine where the lines are drawn. Under no circumstance should a district be formed that the majority of that district is illegally here thus have no representation under the Constitution!

The bottom line is get the free loading dems out and install the non -rhinos in – the problem is how do you find a non-rhino that is willing to compromise and give up all those good things the dems gave them like -life long retirement-their kids don’t pay for education all the holidays with pay-unlimited sick days with pay and the list goes on and on and on-Thats why I say -THEY ALL HAVE TO GO!

  • Samuel

This redistrctingh case before the Supreme Court typifies how rediculous our Federal governmant has become. Texas, like all other states ws mandated to redraw its voting districts based on the 2010 census. Because of its growth, Texas will have 4 new representatives in the House. The legislature drew a new map, however, because the legislature is controlled by a republican majority, the democrts sued saying the new map was unfairly drawn to add more republican seats. Three Mexican Federal judges drew their own map, which gave all the new seats to heavily democrat Mexican districts and instrucvted the State of Texas to use their map for all puposes in ther coming election. The Constitution does not give Federal judges the authority to impose their will upon the voting public, but they have assumed it and now seek to control the elections through judicial mandates. Texas sued in Federal court to protest such judicial shenanigans. Now, state and local elections are in limbo, because no one knows which the district boundaries to use. It could also revert the House to democrat control if allowed to stand. A gross example of how the progressive democrat party is attacking all our intstitutions and throwing the government into the hands of liberal judges.

    • jayleigh

Exactly right! Electoral maps should be drawn strictly by population numbers in a particular area and should be set by number of voters divided by the number of voters required to add representatives to Congress! NOT by ethnic origin. Not all Mexicans vote Dem, however. Although newbies often do because ACORN and other Dem pols convince them that their party is the party of the proletariat! Shades of pre-WWII Europe. The Jews in Russia and Germany were fooled by the Communist propaganda that promised to free them from the discriminatory, racist regimes. Standing in line at Auschwitz, Bergan-Belsen, Birkenau, et al, was a wake-up call to how they’d been fooled. The Dems are as racist as the communist BUND in Russia and the Nazi’s in Germany. If we “whities” keep mouthing disdain for the Hispanic and Black population instead of making friends of them, they will continue to support the party that “accepts” them and plays up to them! Don’t be stupid! Get to know them, invite them to your b-b-qs and stop acting so fearful and racist in your attitudes toward any ethnic population. No one was ever won over to an opinion by insults! If you just take a look at what you write here and your attitudes toward anyone not WHITE, you should be able to understand why they vote for the lies of the Dems – ever see the Dems talk about the “Mexican problem” or call them ALL “wetback”? They don’t! They curry their favor. As my mom used to say, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.” And i used to say, “But who wants a bunch of flies?” Smartaleck that i was back then. But she was right – if you want to garner the vote of that population, you better start paying attention to them and treat them like human beings instead of slave labor. Why do you think the Black voting bloc is almost totally Dem? Because they learned one thing from the civil rights movement – that’s a huge population and each adult in that population had a right to vote. If they didn’t want that vote to go to the opponent, they had to suck it up and make nice! Grow up people! Set your racial discrimination aside and look at the potential for votes. Your mean mouths will keep any large population currently owned by the Dems from switching parties! Oh never-mind – you’ll never give up on your prejudices – you’ll just go on playing the blame-game. If the Hispanic and Black populations were equally drawn between the political parties, this controversy would NEVER have come into court. Why don’t you work to make that happen? You can – try “friendship evangelism” (i don’t mean necessarily in the religious sense, but in the political sense). It Works!

  • Capt. Link Hogthrob

What am I missing here? Ain’t it the job of the Texas legislature to redistrict their state. WTF is the SCOTUS doing messing around with this? Isn’t that the ruling they should come up with here, commie lesbians notwithstanding?

Knowing who Obama’s czars and who he appointed to his administration should tell everyone what his goals are for America. Maybe this will help. In his book: Dreams From My Father, he said, “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race”. In his book: Audacity of Hope, he said, “i will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”The scary thing for me to see is that his popularity is on the rise. Too many still chose to remain ignorant.

They won’t believe this happened, but it DID.
    Harry and Bess
    (This seems unreal.)
Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation’s history as any of the other 42 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.

The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence, Missouri . His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and, other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.

When he retired from office in 1952 his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an “allowance” and, later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year.

After President Eisenhower was inaugurated, Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves. There was no Secret Service following them.

When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, “You don’t want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn’t belong to me. It belongs to the American people and it’s not for sale.”

Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, “I don’t consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise.”

As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.

Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth. Today, many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while enjoying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale (cf. Illinois).

Good old Harry Truman was correct when he observed, “My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there’s hardly any difference!”

I say dig him up and clone him!

If you agree, forward it. If you don’t, delete it. I don’t want to know one way or the other. By me forwarding it, you know how I feel.

Enjoy life now — it has an expiration date!

    • jayleigh

Yes! i admire him soooooooooo much! The Pendergast syndicate tried to control him because they believed they had put him in office. If you read nothing else this year, get a hold of “Letters to Bess” – it is a compilation of his letters to his wife all through their married life. He was an amazing man! A real hero.

Eisenhower was an honest man (and was not guilty of adultery, regardless of the book that came out after his death). He bought a new car for Mamie, but she could no longer drive because of Meniere’s syndrome that made her dizzy and unable sometimes to walk straight at times, and certainly not able to drive. So, the car just sat in the garage. Grandson David asked if he could have the car, and his grandfather wisely said, “Yes, you can buy it from me.” David said it was a good lesson for him that just because he was an Eisenhower and had wealth, he was going to have to work to get the things he wanted – he wasn’t going to be allowed to live like a “spoiled brat” because he was Dwight’s g-son. D-Day, Eisenhower wept as he went down the line of the soldiers in his troop review before sending them off on that dangerous Normandy, Omaha Beach invasion on June 6th! He wept because he knew what the casualties would be and he did not take that lightly!

Truman and Eisenhower – one a Democrat and one a Republican – both honorable men!

Ban gerrymandering! One man one vote plus voter ID photo.

    • jayleigh

Gerrymandering is illegal – that doesn’t mean it isn’t done – it just isn’t done legally! Oh, well, sometimes we all make spelling errors because our fingers get ahead of our eyes when our brains are working overtime. i do it and don’t always proofread as i ought, and i actually got excellent grades in English and was a journalist for awhile and when i reread what i just posted, i think, “How did that sentence get structured that way?” It ain’t so big a deal. But all caps is shouting when used exclusively in blogging. All caps used judicially is just emphasis because there is no way to create italics or bold type on these blogs. So sorry, if my fingers get away from my line of thought. (i purposely use a small “i” when referring to myself – it’s because i think the capitalizing it when we don’t capitalize “she” or “he” is egotistical. Just a philosophical thing. i don’t do it in official letters and writings, etc. Just in informal things like this and letters to my friends.

      • Majjohn

You are dead wrong, gerrymandering IS legal and is a way for parties to protest their incumbent. Racial gerrymandering might not be legal but the US Supreme court in 1990 ruled that is was usually legal, do your research. You just don’t know the political process and you don’t know what the hell you are talking about or you choose to spread lies and propaganda.

If only we had a bunch of people who would get up and force congress(Mr Behner) to put this creep we have as a president up on charges that he constantly broke the constitional laws and has used treasonable acts against the people. If they only had the guts to bring this clown , Ried and Pelosi and a few more up on charges and then impeach them or get rid of them any other way, we wouldn’t have a problem in this country. Plus, anyone who backs these cruds, Dems or otherwise should have their asses handed to them. When the hell are they going to do something besides blow gas from both their a–holes? The mouth is #2.

    • Rocky

If you find any let me know. I have found very few willing to actually DO something to stop this other than talk and wave signs.
I think a few Germans did this before Hilter had full power and look what happened to them. Does FEMA camps sound familar?

All the name calling in the world is going to make RP a conservative. He’s a Libritarian. Further, his foreign policy will get us unprepared into a third world war. He’s dangeruous. Carl Rove is small potatoes. The Republican convention will produce a true conservative who will get us out of this sosialist mess.

Vote for anyone but RP, Obama or Romney!!!!.

  • erdrodiguez

. . .and as the old saying goes, “The South Shall Rise Again” this time led by Texas. We will demand proof of all candidates to be American Born Citizens and Patriotic. We have had enough of these LIBERAL/COMMUNIST/MUSLIMS bullshit or any other kind of foreign trash, lets keep it American and to hell with all other forms of government.

  • George Robinson

Nobody much will get this far so I will be brief. We Texans need to forget all y’all Yankees and get back on the secession track. I believed that way back when some commie judge brought us bussing, it’s been downhill ever since!

Uh, that was Justice Earl Warren.

The US Constitution says it is the right of the states to determine their own districts. It has always been done that way without interference from the federal courts which don’t have jurisdiction. That is why that portion of the voters rights act in unconstitutional at best and obsolete at least. The democrats lost heavily in the 2010 election with republican governors and state republican legislators going into office. This means they have the right to draw up districts that favor their party just as the democrats did when they were in power. The only difference is the republicans did not whine and file law suits and went by the rule of law which obviously the democrats can’t do.

Something to consider when discussing Barrack Obama, the president of the United States of America has a serious personality disorder, narcissism. Totally inexperienced and arguably unqualified for the presidency, he mesmerized the entire establishment press and more than half of voters, many regarding him nothing short of a political messiah. Though he can barely speak publicly without a teleprompter, he is praised as a transcendent communicator. Though his voting record is extreme left, he portrays himself as a pragmatic centrist.
Beyond Obama’s political ideology, many Americans are troubled also by his strange personality attributes. He greatly exaggerates his achievements, expects constant praise and admiration, believes he is special, doesn’t appear to concern himself with other people’s feelings, expresses disdain for those he feels are inferior, sets unrealistic goals, appears tough-minded and unemotional, and other qualities- all of which are textbook symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and therefore unfit to be president irregardless as to whether or not he is actually a natural born citizen.

obama is not a nig-r he is a F’n muslim

  • Radison

As long as the long time Republican elite run the party, we might as well not vote, for our votes will not be able to vote for the people’s choice, only the party’s elite choice. Redistricting is just another ploy to control who gets in office, and who controls things.

It is time for the states to stand up to the Federal Government. I am sick of these liberal Federal judges stepping on States rights and then the states back down. WTF??? We had better get this Dictator Obama out of office and reclaim our country and rescind every friggin’ thing he shoved down our throats. what is wrong with Congress letting him get away with things? we know that the supreme Court is letting him do whatever he wants. what happened to 3 parts of the Federal government and checks and balances???

RIP America!!!! It was one hell of a run. We let socialism win. It’s our own fault. I’m glad I’m old but I fear for my children and grandchildren. I hope they take my advise and go elsewhere. I would sell everything I own to allow them to do so.

    Neighbourly Observation:
Your Constitution is nothing more than a well meaning piece of paper. Your President is now a Dictator with full powers to do as he feels. Your legal cries are worthless. Your entire legislative system is totally corrupt. This can be blamed totally onto American ignorance.

  • Drop Dead Fred

Hint here. “over 65% of the growth was in hispanic areas” Obviously illigal immigrant growth. How should the rest of the state be misrepresented so those people who shouldn’t even be in the US get free health care, education, etc… while taking jobs from Citizens.
Get rid of the illegals and most of the problem goes away. There just part of the Obummer conspiricy anyways

I would like to interject a comment which should be read by all people who speak english and write comments to these blogs. There are three words which are consistently misused by seemingly educated people. There is used to describe a location as in, he’s over THERE.
Their is possessive as in it is their right to breath clean air. and lastly, THEY”RE is a contraction of the two word THEY and ARE. It gives a lot more credibility to THEIR comments and THEY”RE much more credible when THERE are sentences using these three words correctly. Why not proof-read your comments for these words. Also TO and TOO as there are TOO many illegals comint TO this country. People from other countries read these semi-literate postings and wonder why Americans have so much trouble with their own language.
