Quite frankly, I don’t see where in the Constitution according to the 10th Amendment where 90% or more of what the government does is any of their business to begin with. Much of what they do is now their business because we “Allow” them to do it. Nothing they do should be above the law, set forth in our Constitution. What exactly that had to do with anything is rather amorphous. However you might consider the fact that many students due to circumstances also had to drop out, be it for financial reasons, or what have you. However many went on to continue their education with a GED, and many went on to further their education in technical or university training. As funny as it might sound to a vet such as yourself, many gained that education while serving our country in the military. You might consider the possibility that being a proficient speller does not make the man or woman, it only shows that quite likely they had used a spell checker to edit their post, or possibly that they aren’t as adept with a keyboard as you seem to think you are. However, anyone that feels compelled to condemn as stupid “98%” of the respondents on this site simply shows his/her ignorance and unwarranted arrogance.

Good question since most votes are counted by programmed machines these days. There is no need to use old fashioned, people based, methods of voter fraud anymore. But to answer your question, it’s distraction, pitting us against them.

Voter ID is one of the bills up for consideration by the Nebraska Unicameral this session. There was a piece on the Lincoln 10:00 news last night, and the one who was the most outspoken against voter ID was, yep, a Democrat from Omaha. And she was extremely vocal about it, too!!! I have no problem with voter ID. Anything that will ensure one vote per legal citizen of these United States is OK with me. Doesn’t bother me one way or the other, but it would be nice to have just to twist the tail on the Democratic donkey.
