    I am really tired of this guy. I watched the hockey game last night and I’m not even a real hockey fan. Couldn’t bear to listen to the lies. My husband watched the speech and told me that it was all about creating new government agencies and demonizing people who are successful. I was right! I didn’t miss a thing.

          It is amazing that 53% of the voters fall for his lies. He is the nearest we have ever had being a dictator. He now asks for more dictatorial power. He will ignore the Constitution regardless of what the Congress says.
          The bad news is: he will be re-elected, and when he is, the first thing he will do is to continue to invalidate the Second Amendment and the First Amendment.
          After four more years, he will try to become president of the entire world.

        Hey Guys and Gals.
        Yesterday I sent an e-mail to my Secretary of State’s office demanding that obama be required to show proof that he is elegible to hold the office of POTUS. A court in Georgia has already refused to dismiss cases making similar demands. Obama is due to appear in court tomorrow and if he refuses he could be struck from the state’s ballot in November.

        I urge all of you that have concerns about odumber to contact your Secretary of State’s office and demand that he provide proof of his elegibility.

            You are right! The seat that the impostor and chief occupies is greater than any one man that sits in it. It is a shame what this man has done to the office. When the congress reconvenes in January, they need to set rules in place for running for the office. # 1 a valid birth certificate. # 2 A valid social security #… # 3 at least 2 senators and 2 representatives from each party to confirm the person has met the requirements, and not from their own state. vetting should not be the media’s job. All persons that apply for and run for the office need to show proof without question of their citizenship.

            A candidate, doesn’t have to have any kind of identification to become President of the U.S.

            If there is another election, the winning candidate (citizen of the world) may not even be required to speak English!

            Americans are just a “group of producers that obey any rules” and do what they are told. And, they are easily controlled because they are so gullible. What a resource to have working and making money for any bastard with the nerve to just “walk in” and tell Americans how it is going to be!

            CAllen, I refer to him as the current occupant of the White House. I seldom use his name or any variation of it. Can’t stand to watch him when he talks, so I turn my back to the TV and just listen. Well, sometimes I listen. I listened last night and it was just more of the same old, same old. A lot of what he said was very similar to what he’s said before, almost verbatim. Man, I will be SO glad when this creep is out of the White House and in a jail cell somewhere for all the lying and deceit.

            I’d like to be a fly on the wall in Judge Mahili’s Courtroom in Georgia tomorrow morning at 9:00 when the first hearing gets underway. I guess his interview with Diane Sawyer of ABC News tomorrow morning is more important than answering to the fine people of the Great State of Georgia.

What I want to know is why is no one in Congress (the House of Representatives specifically) doing anything to remove this piece of scum from the White House? I understand that the House of Representatives is where charges of impeachment start. And the actual impeachment trial is held in the Senate. Why is no one doing anything to get rid of him? I guess I just don’t understand.

          Unfortunatly he will be on all the State ballots. He will provide the courts with his certification of live birth and they will accept it. They will not even consider the fact that he is not a natural born US citizen by virtue of the fact that his father was never a US citizen. Laws are only something that us little people are required to comply with these days. Congress has it’s hands tied and cannot do anything about it (not even impeachment) because the Senate is controlled by the dictator.

If the impeachment trial was to go there and the usurper gets accquitted then castro could be president. The accquittal would set precedent and any one could site it to get on a ballot.

          I didn’t ask for proof of eligibility, I asked for the State of South Dakota to take his name off, for by his own admissions his father is not a natural born citizen of the United States of America which already makes him ineligible.

            Well, I just called the the Secretary of State’s office and spoke with a woman in that office. She asked me what the office was that I wanted to challenge and I told her the presidency. She kind of fumbled around a bit and finally told me that there isn’t really a statute but that she would have a man named Neil Erickson get back to me on Tuesday. So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Mr. Erickson says. Should be interesting at any rate.

            Thanks for the advice, Chs!!! Our primary election is in May, so I think we’ve still got some time before the ballots are printed.

            Other than that…I’m reluctant to push the issue of BO’s eligibility now, at this late stage (during his first couple months in office would have been a different story). Here’s why:
            1) If he gets booted out of office…we get Joe Biden!
            2) He’s made such a mess of everything, if we wait till elections he’ll get voted out, and a Republican will be voted in. But if he’s proven to be ineligible, another Dem will run, who would stand a better chance (anyone would stand a better chance). We could (Heaven forbid) be looking at a President Hillary.

            Vicki, you cannot even say that “all slaves are equal.” They are NOT. There is no way to make even “two people” exactly the same.. Yes, you can give them the same food, same work, same punishment….but that doesn’t make people “equal.” You can put lots of people in a prison, but a hierarchy will still arise among the prisoners.

            This idea of everyone being exactly the same and equal, was voiced by an acquaintance.
            This individual wished for all peoples of the world to be exactly the same, to be totally equal. This person took it so far that everyone was to even look alike ! The idea was that all the races of the world would “meld” into one race.!             This person had to be mentally ill to a degree, but in all appearances normal and even brilliant on occasions. This is how I see “liberals.” They are “sick” to some degree, extreme, feel inferior, and many are unable to cope with life in a competitive world. Their solution is to make everyone the same, and take away “competition” of any kind…..”level the playing field.”

            God made each one of us special in different ways and he gave us our minds to use and be creative. We were given a “will” to live and be free…. But, Liberals are more likely than not to be the weak of mind and weak of spirit. They are viciously jealous that others can succeed where they cannot. Liberals can be “used” by the powerful and are willing to destroy that which they perceive to be beyond their reach. They espouse great intentions but aspire to have great power over others. Often times they resort to evil to obtain the power/notoriety they desire.

That is their brand of “equality,” it is equality through government mandate, without effort or labor. The rest of us want “equality of opportunity” and we are willing to work for what we want.

          I’d suggest you check your television, maybe you are recording something and then playing it over and over. I watch the news every day on many stations (even Faux News) and rarely see him. Maybe it’s like you guys talking about him golfing every day when the truth is closer to once every two weeks since he got to the White House. Or maybe the talk about all his vacations, when they actually are a fraction of what Bush did. I really am ok with you not liking the guy, but please be a little more honest with your complaints.

Every time conditions in Washington get hot, Obama takes off in Air Force One to some vacation destination at the cost of hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars. You never have seen another President do that, not even the previous worst ever resident of the WH, Jimmy Carter. Also, check the number of vacations the Obamas have been on during this first term that’s not over yet and the count was eleven until the now infamous 17 day Hawaiian vacation (one of many) over the Christmas holiday that cost this country 4 million, yes that’s MILLION dollars. That’s over $235,000 a day!!! Do you spend that kind of money on your vacations? I haven’t spent that much on the total number of vacations I’ve taken in my lifetime. When President Bush went out of town, he and Mrs. Bush either went to Camp David or Crawford, Texas to their ranch there. At other times, they went to Kennebunkport, Maine where the first President and Mrs. Bush own the home that was the elder President Bush’s family home. They did not drain the pockets of the American people for their vacations. They went to their own homes which don’t cost over $3000.00 day like the accommodations the Obamas DEMAND. Between Hawaii, Martha’s Vineyard and the lavish vacations the first lady takes, the price tag just for their fun and frolicking would make a dent in the national debt. None of the previous Presidents took as many vacations nor did they spend Millions of taxpayers money on holidays. All of them had their own homes to go to. Aparently, Mr. Obama doesn’t have another home because he certainly hasn’t been to it in the last three years. He has made many trips abroad on “foreign policy” business where he has taken his wife and the children if out of the school term. Those have been more family vacations, not counting the actual vacations they’ve taken. Being President is a stressful job and they need to get away….no one objects to that but the Obamas have gone way overboard with the holidays. You haven’t seen Obama on the news lately because he’s been under intense fire to produce proof of his eligibility to hold the office he holds. If he was eligible, he would have produced it long ago instead of producing a phony, fake document that wasn’t even a credible fraud. That was not too smart. It was better for his credibility to continue to refuse than to produce a fraudulent document and remove all doubt of what he is.             On Thursday, he and his family are heading off to Martha’s Vineyard, the island off of Massachusetts. They’ll be staying at a 28-acre retreat called Blue Heron Farm for about 10 days.

            There has been criticism of the president’s vacation at this time. But how does the number of vacation days the president has spent compare to his predecessors? CBS Radio’s Mark Knoller has kept track of presidential vacations for years and supplied the data.

            So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch.

            Among recent presidents, Bill Clinton took the least time off — 28 days.

            To be fair, a presidential vacation away from the White House is not the same as a vacation for the average person. The president is still in contact with his advisers and on call for any emergency.

I used to work for the state welfare (health and human services, it was called) office until I retired, and when these people would come into the office, the women were all dressed like they had no clothes that fit them and that covered them up to an appropriate for business way. Their clothes were always way too small and usually just barely covered the subject – top or bottom. I guess it was so we could all see their tattoos – on the back of their upper hips, back of their neck, arms, legs, stomach and hands. All over. And the piercings – nose, eyebrow and lip. It’s no wonder they wanted welfare! They couldn’t get a job looking like that!!!

When we have a nominee, I plan to work at least 40 hours a week to do everything in my power to ensure a Republican victory.           Of course the Democrats voted against “Carried Interest,” which allows loop holes for the 1% ers like the “Mitt.” The GOP and their acolytes course make the specious claim that 47% of all Americans are tax deadbeats. In fact, every wage earner in America, who earns up to $106K pays approximately 8% FICA tax. On the other hand the earner making $212K, pays approximately 4%.

          But who gave them that tax cut? Bush II did! What was the price of the tax cut? The top brackets got 65% of the total benefits. But what did the 47% pay before the Bush II largesse? After their deductions and personal exemptions they were in the lowest tax bracket. One must analyze the implications of the public policy issue of which was better for the country: the taxes that would have paid the US Treasury versus the tax relief they received. Frankly. I believe everyone should pay a minimum tax.

          All of that has nothing to do with billionaires and multimillionaires who are paying the lowest level of taxes in history, with no evidence that their low tax rate creates jobs. Which is more important, deficit reduction with a combination of tax increases on the most wealthy and expenditure cuts that must come in 4 areas: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the Armed Forces (debt service cannot be cut) or no tax increases on anyone and the Middle and Lower Middle classes taking the brunt of the hits? Where would you benefit? From tax cuts for the rich or retirement and health care benefits for yourselves?

            In Georgia Courtroom On Thursday
            January 23, 2012 By Doug Book – The Western Center For Journalism
            For those who have waited 3 years for a judge to finally rule that Barack Hussein Obama must prove that he is legally and Constitutionally qualified to run for or serve as President of the United States, the day may have come at last.

            For on Friday, Georgia State Office of Administrative Hearings Judge Michael Malihi ruled that subpoenas demanding the presence of Barack Obama in his Georgia courtroom on January 26th along with the original form of his Hawaii birth certificate and information on his myriad Social Security numbers will remain in force.

            Obama ‘s attorney Michael Jablonski had filed a motion to quash those subpoenas, arguing if Obama were made to answer questions before the court it would “…[require] him to interrupt duties as President of the United States…” (1)

            It was also Obama’s claim that “presidential electors and Congress, not the State of Georgia, hold the Constitutional responsibility for determining the qualifications of presidential candidates.” (1)

            Well Judge Malihi did not agree with Obama’s arguments that the laws of the State of Georgia were somehow irrelevant to the process, or that his presence in the court would materially interfere with his ability to discharge the duties of his office.

            In his decision to allow the subpoenas to remain in force, Malihi wrote, “…Defendant (Obama) has failed to cite any legal authority evidencing why his attendance is ‘unreasonable or oppressive, or that testimony…is irrelevant, immaterial, or cumulative and unnecessary to a party’s preparation or presentation at the hearing, or that basic fairness dictates that the subpoena should not be enforced.’ ” (2)

            In short, as Judge Malihi so eloquently put it, ”Defendant’s motion to quash is denied.” (2)

            The process before Judge Mahili began when a number of Georgia residents filed 3 separate lawsuits demanding that Barack Obama provide evidence of having met State of Georgia election law requirements before being placed on the ballot. Malihi agreed with the plaintiffs, quoting in his ruling Georgia law which states “…every candidate for federal office shall meet the constitutional and statutory qualifications for holding the office being sought.” (3)

            In that ruling, Mahili stated “the court finds that the defendant (Barack Obama) is a candidate for federal office who has been certified by the state executive committee of a political party and therefore must, under Code Section 21-2-5, meet the constitutional and statutory qualifications for holding the office being sought.” (3)

            Though Obama has managed to ooze his way out of legal responsibilities and requirements in the past, this time it really might be a bit thick for the acting president. Even the radically leftist Southern Poverty Law Center has decided to weigh in, giving vent to a typically childish attack of spleen in its “Hatewatch” column no less, where it snivels “…Malihi’s decision has been heralded far and wide as a defining moment for those who have hounded Obama about his lineage.” (4)

            Apparently demands that Barack Hussein Obama actually abide by the laws of the land and the Constitution of the United States make for a clear case of “hounding” to an organization known to file suit at the drop of a conservative hat.

            Here’s hoping Judge Malihi’s courtroom turns liberal petulance to leftist rage on January 26th. For Malihi’s ruling that day will determine whether or not Barack Hussein Obama may be certified by the Democrat Party to appear on the Georgia ballot in November. And as the Liberty Legal Foundation explains it, “without such a certification from the Party, Obama will not appear on any ballot in the 2012 general election.” (5)

            Bush may have been in the car but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel they were driving the economy into the ditch. Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.
            Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.
            In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.
            For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget.
            And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. Let’s remember what the deficits looked like during that period:
            If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
            If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
            In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for, And then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.”
            There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
            “The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.”
            That my friends constitutes socialism…a welfare state.

          How about you give us an example of how the repubs have hurt the US rather than your one liners that say nothing. Who wrote the bill that destroyed the housing industry starting the credit fall and the major part of the loss of jobs in the US?? It was the democratic senate and democratic house that passed the bill that forced banks and credit agencies to give loans to people who could not pay the bill. When these loans fell apart the housing fall started and these same banks and credit companies began laying people off. Manufacturers were unable to get money for investment in their production, people quit spending money in their local economy and this re-enforced the downfall. So when you say it was Bush’s fault maybe you should research the history of how the fall was created and remember it was a democratic house and senate that started the fall.

          1) Yes, the spending has gotten huge, it’s hell paying the bills sometimes, esp. when most of the bills were run up by someone else. Those little things like two wars, unfunded health care, etc. It’s really bad when at the same time you have a trillion less to work with because a tiny portion of the population at the top needed a break.
          2) The unemployment numbers are improving. There are more jobs being created each month, compared to the monthly loss when he took over.
          3) I’d much rather deal with some “green” energy failures knowing that there will be some that don’t, than continue to send a billion a week to the middle east….that’s a failure we can’t afford to continue.
          4) Fat and furious was either a dumb idea, or a good idea that was handled by dumb people….I’m sure I could easily come up with worst ideas that every president has had. Considering the money, power and weapons that the drug cartels already have, this isn’t really a game changer.
          5) I too am not happy with the lack of transparency, but when the Republican leaders state openly that their main objective is to insure that he is a one term president, I may be hesitant to tell too much also.
          6) The Black Panther thing is a flippin joke….no comment.
          7) The wealthy do not create jobs. The middle class create jobs by having money to buy things that create a demand for the products and services of a company, that then has to hire someone. If tax breaks for the wealthy created jobs then we should be in great shape since their taxes have never in my life been lower for them….maybe we should do like Newt said and cut the capitol gains tax to zero, then we could expect zero unemployment…talk about voodoo economics.
          8) I really don’t care who he appoints or what he calls them…Czars, Assistants, Investigator, Advisor….whatever, makes no difference to me. The fact that he has appointed many I do feel is a good thing. Sounds like he’s hired people to get stuff done. Only Cabinet appointments requre Congress to approve, ant they have made it clear that they intend to approve NOTHING he does, even if it is what they said they want.
          9) I spent many year in a church where I did not agree with much of what the preacher said, but I wasn’t there to be a critic of the preacher. I disagree strongly with many things my wife says, but that doesn’t mean I need to find a new wife.
          10) I’ve never seen any evidence that he was a friend of Bill Ayers. The only thing I’ve seen is that there was a political function hosted by Ayers supporting Obama many years ago. Guess what, I’ve spent a lot of time with a lot of people that a background check on would turn up things that I oppose strongly. In fact at my age it’s not hard for me to find things that I’ve done or said that I oppose strongly.
          There. I spoke my peace on Obama’s record. So, I do get it, even if we don’t agree.

      My assumption is that as the economy improves, and by the way, employment has risen for 22 straight months since March 2009, when the momentum of the Bush Crash ended, the GOP and its far right acolytes who haunt this site, will bleat like sheep. The numbers are improving and the myth regarding the positive Republican record on employment is spelled out below. In fact, under Reagan unemployment crested at 10.5% for almost two years, and averaged almost 8% for his two terms.       How does one destroy the Middle Class in 3 years? As I recall when he came into office, the jobs were bleeding at 700K per month. In fact they bled months into 2009 when the the Stimulus was passed by the Congress and money was given to the states for distribution for shove ready jobs, jobs already stalled, teachers, police officers firefighters and all sorts of people who do the necessary work that we all need and appreciate. As far as I know, and most would agree with, jobs have been being exported by American Big Business for decades. In the last 27 years since Reagan, only Clinton created jobs of any discernible amount (23 million).

By that measurement, which is what Romney was quoting, 15% is among the highest tax rates paid by anyone. Look at your last year’s tax return (that is if you filed one – tax cheat Geithner?). Divide the actual taxes you paid by your adjusted gross. In your case, you should be far below 10%. A little financial education would not hurt you.

If that person earned $174K, lived in NYS and paid 6% in State income taxes they would have SIT of $10,440 withheld, $8480 in FICA, property taxes of $15,000, no mortgage, was married w/o children ($7400 deduction) and paid 8% on $50,000 in purchases they would pay $4000 in sales taxes.

          The adjusted state income tax, sales tax, property tax and personal exemptions would equal $34,629 and are deductible from one’s gross income, the adjusted gross income would be: $139,377 and the 28% tax would be $39,023. The Adjusted gross on the state would be $8229.

          Therefore a married person, w/o children, w/o a mortgage, and w/o any other deductions would pay the total of: $74,732 (FIT, State, Sales, Property and FICA out of an income of $174,000 or 42.9% in total taxes. That is w/o any other deductions.. If they had two children other expenses and I know there are a number of other credits, their taxes with HR Block’s help would be lower than 40%. I am assuming a lot for property taxes, but possible here and a lot of purchases of $50K!

          With regards to the budget, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are financed primarily by payroll taxes and have their deficits guaranteed by FIT. Those costs represent 53% of the budget. The remaining 47% is made up by the following: Defense, Homeland, Veterans, etc, which is $970 billion or almost half (47% of the Discretionary Budget,) all other departments cost $660 billion and $381 billion is devoted to interest. In other words of the 47% almost 66% is made up of military and interest expenses. The rest of the Federal government equals about 15% of the total spending. Aside from the Bush Recession and the collapse of housing in America and the downturn in revenues, the rations regarding outlays haven’t changed that dramatically.

    Obama and his State of the Union Address is no different than a guy whispering sweet nothings and wining and dining a girl just long enough to “score” then promises to call the next day but does not. I forewarned everyone about Michelle Obama ,taking her husbands senate seat, evidently they are planning on a sure bet , Obama having another term, or maybe more than one more term, when he gave his speech last nite, he mentioned all of these things he wants done will go far into another decade. All of his flock were behind him, especially Reid, Pelosi and Clinton, Warren Buffet and George Soros. His half brother lives in China, looks just like Obama, I almost feel Barrack Hussein Obama, is a stage name that he chose, he certainly likes being in the limelight.     the labor force has been forced to take less productive jobs if they can find them and he quit
    counting the Criminal Illegal Aliens that were getting unemployment benefits. The list is
    almost endless and nearely impossible to track to get a clear picture. Bottom line is prices
    are up, unemployment is up and the invasion from foreign countries is up too. The price of
    a gallong of gasoline has doubled since he has been in office and we still do not have a budget.
    If he can fool enought of the Kool Aid drinkers one more time our country may never recover
    from tyhe depression that will follow from his Socialist dreams that he got from his raising
    in Muslim countries at the feet of clericks who hated and preached the destruction of our
    Nation.

    Obama proved last night he does not understand Capital Gains and the way rich are taxed. Also, how can he legitimately demonize the rich about what they pay when they are paying by the rules passed in Congress. If Obama has a problem then let him change the rules. I know he wants to tax the rich more but that’s not changing the rules, that’s punishing the rich for the work they have done and that kills the very essence of Capitalism.
    I heard this morning the Independents are siding with Obama on the rich against poor. I hope and believe they are smarter than that.     I strarted this night reading the book titled “Subversion Inc.” by Matthew Vadum, describing Obama’s system of local soviets called “community organizations” of which he acts as the national Chief; just like Lenin did in 1917. By the way, Obama did declare in one of his speeches that “the country needs a domestic military with a budget as big as that of the Pentagon’s”. Obama is in fact our Community Organizer-in-Chief, as I had stated when he won the elections in 2008; and that is what this writer calls him in his book issued in 2011.

    There is no doubt in my mind that by hook or by crook Obama will be reelected in the coming November elections, and that America will turn into a communist dictatorship. ACORN-like local soviets helped by industrial union thugs and government employees unions will make sure of that result by widespread vote fraud. Our Agit-Prop organization, as that coterie was called in communist countries and here in America goes under the name of Main Stream Media and consisting of ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NPR, PBS, NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post, various university newspapers, – all supervised and directed by our Justice Department under Holder and a number of far-left judges nominated over the years by Carter, Clinton, and Obama will certified the election results not only for Obama but also for a wide range of communists parading under the colors of the Democrat Party.

    The ensuing economic crisis will require even more forceful interventions of the federal government – by further nationalizations of private corporations, especially our energy industries – oil & gas companies, coal mines, transportation companies, electricity companies – under the guise of the global warming hoax. That enormous economic crisis, exasperated by a massive amnesty of illegal aliens, by the insistence of Obama on the pusuit of non-existent “green” energies”, and by the ensuing hyper-inflation will require the assumption of dictatorial powers by Obama and his coterie of White House advisers known as czars, but more appropriately named by this former refugee from a communist hell as komissars. The former USA will become the United Soviet Socialist States of America. The main slogans will be: “Tax the rich!” and “Spread the wealth around!” and “Social justice now”! as well as “Stop Republican racism!”

    That is what awaits us, ladies and gentlemen, and there is nothing you or I can do about it. Neither Romney nor Gingrich nor anybody else in the Republican Party is up to this task, just like McCain was a real babe in the woods in 2008. The communist wave that has been brewing since the 1930, that has been strengthening through the 1960’s, and that has been maturing through the 2000’s, has reached the strength of an irresistible force that will carry all of us “reactionaries” into the future Gulag, never to return from there.

      Not too many people understand that, Stephen. Most investments are made with already taxed income. And another point: The IRS uses as a tool something called “effective tax rate”. By that measurement, which is what Romney was quoting, 15% is among the highest tax rates paid by anyone. To figure one’s effective tax rate, divide the actual taxes you paid by your adjusted gross. For most of us, the result should be far below 10%.

    I didn’t watch, because I knew what it was going to be like…and I was right by all accounts I have heard this morning. This is probably the first time I have not listened to a SOTU speech ever.

    I sincerely belive that he never intended to win in 2008. It was a trial run for him and because he was black, and people “felt it was the right time” for a black president, there was enough blind guilt, they never vetted him properly and now we have a huge MESS. I did not vote for him. I would have never voted for someone so flamboyant and unknown. He spoke well, but so did Ted Bundy.

    What happens to a country, when they lose all faith that this person can actually turn things around from bleakness to utter despair? He continues to use the same old tired rhetoric, blame game, more government and higher taxes? This record is broken…or in more modern terms, this CD/DVD has been broken into tiny bits. There is no hope and there certainly has been only change for the worse.

    He has said the same thing so many times, that I could almost quote him verbatim, and I am certainly no orator.

    An intensive investigation has revealed the identity of the man whose Social Security number (SSN) is being used by President Obama: Jean Paul Ludwig, who was born in France in 1890, immigrated to the United States in 1924, and was assigned SSN 042-68-4425 (Obama’s current SSN) on or about March 1977.

    Ludwig lived most of his adult life in Connecticut .. Because of that, his SSN begins with the digits 042, which are among only a select few reserved for Connecticut residents.

    Obama never lived or worked in that state! Therefore, there is no reason on earth for his SSN to start with the digits 042. None whatsoever!

    Now comes the best part! Ludwig spent the final months of his life in Hawaii, where he died.

    Conveniently, Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, worked part-time in the Probate Office in the Honolulu Hawaii Courthouse, and therefore had access to the SSNs of deceased individuals.

    The Social Security Administration was never informed of Ludwig’s death, and because he never received Social Security benefits there were no benefits to stop and therefore, no questions were ever raised.

    The suspicion, of course, is that Dunham, knowing her grandson was not a U.S. Citizen, either because he was born in Kenya or became a citizen of Indonesia upon his adoption by Lolo Soetoro simply scoured the probate records until she found someone who died who was not receiving Social Security benefits, and selected Mr LudwigsConnecticut SSN for Obama.

    Just wait until Trump gets past the birth certificate and onto the issue of Barry O’s use of a stolen SSN. You will see leftist heads exploding, because they will have no way of defending Obama. Although many Americans do not understand the meaning of the term “natural born” there are few who do not understand that if you are using someone else’s SSN it is a clear indication of fraud.

I’m sure he paid Warren Buffet’s secretary’s plane fare to attend this dog and pony show so he could use her as an example to demonize the rich.

    Last year Jeffrey Emmelt sat w/Michelle as Obama spewed the rhetoric about keeping jobs in America. And where did Emmelt and GE send manufacturing jobs???? To China.

    We read the President’s Thanksgiving Proclaimation at our church each year and I accidently downloaded the 2010 speech this year. When I discovered my mistake, I downloaded the 2011 speech, and when I read it they were virtually interchangable. He needs to give his speech writers a kick in the pants and get them to write something new. But then, maybe he doesn’t have anything new to say?

Maybe, just maybe, if they had toned down thier enthusiasm put on a straight face and never clapped thier hands, odumbo and the people viewing the speech may have understood much better what a miserable position this country is presently in and will be in for a long time in the future.
    It is time for all good men to come to the aid of thier country (remember that?) by writing and calling thier Secretary of State and demanding that the supreme idiot QUALIFY to be on the next state ballot for the election of the next president, just like Georgia is doing now, (tomorrow is his big day in court).
    While you are at it you might include a requirement for all other politicians for all offices to prove that they have an I.Q. at least 1 point higher than a rock. This would help minimize the phony displays that we witnessed last night.

    George Bush’s speaking weakness was in he fact that he ended most sentences as a question.
    Called “up-speaking”. Obama ends his sentences “down-speaking” his voice goes down. This is much more effective in convincing an audience!
    Listen carefully to their speeches and you will hear the differences.

The rescue of the two people from the pirates does seem to be a coincidence for the timing and to me it jest shows that Obama will put anyone in harms way if he thinks it will benefit him and he did get lucky this time because all went well but I am sure he could have cared less if it did not.

    As a Republican who voted for Barry Goldwater for President, I listened to my president last night just as I listen to the Republican candidates for the Republican presidential nomination. I know listening and evaluating is a strange way to make a decision, but being a Republican I am a little strange already. If we Republicans can’t put up better candidates than Newt & Mitt then we are going to lose the election. If we Republicans have to scream about the taxes on the top 1% , rather than the taxes on the other 99% we are going to lose the election. If we Republicans can’t negotiate, compromise, and build consensus we are going to lose the election.
