Gingrich: Obama Called for More ‘Big Government’

Newt Gingrich released the following statement responding to President Obama’s State of the Union address:

We have a crisis of work in this country and President Obama proposed nothing in the way of policy changes that will get us to robust job creation and dramatic economic growth.

Instead, the president described his conviction that his big government is built to last and should be paid for with higher taxes.

But bigger government and higher taxes will not lead to jobs and growth. Bigger government and higher taxes will instead lead to more people on food stamps, a situation which the President and his party defend as a fair outcome.

        Obama must not be re-elected, he must be replaced by a politician who will overturn all the programs that have been created .

          Johnny H, I stand shoulder to shoulder with you. He is absolutely an enemy of the U.S.A. He hates this country and he is trying his level best to see to our ruination. The current occupier of the White House is bound and determined that he is going to be king/emperor/whatever, and by hook or by crook (probably a lot of both), he’s going to get his way. Unless, of course, we, the people take our country back. I’ve had it with this little bastard and his dreams/schemes/imaginings for this country. I’ve been really angry since Obamacare came into being, and every time he opens his mouth, I get angrier and angrier. This guy may be a really good “community organizer” (whatever the heck that is), but he’s a lousy president. I’ve told my family and all my friends that if I come up missing, look for me in one of the “camps” because I will be being held under the NDAA (No Damn Appropriate Authority) with no charges and no trial.

            Most republicans like the indefinite detention clause of the NDAA bill. All the candidates like it except one, Ron Paul. He has introduced legislation to repeal that clause. Most republicans either like raising the debt ceiling or simply don’t have the spine to stand up against it. Ron Paul does. Most republicans think governent is the problem when there’s a democrat in the White House but government is the solution id there is a republican in the White House.           A fundamental cornerstone of our Constitution is the inherent checks and balances between the branches of government. Each acts as a check on the others to ensure no single individual or institution can accumulate undue powers. Actions that seek to challenge this balance undermine the founding principles of our federal system entrusted to us by our Forefathers.

          The congressional oversight process serves to hold executive officials accountable for the implementation of delegated authority. Given the evolving role and scope of the federal government in recent decades, the importance of Congress’ review function looms large in checking and monitoring the delegated authority granted to federal agencies.

          The Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 strengthens legislative oversight by enhancing committees’ ability to hold agencies accountable for the implementation of their performance goals and outcomes; to carefully evaluate the budget requests of various agencies, and to reduce or eliminate unnecessary duplication among federal agencies that implement policy areas.

          The Congressional Review Act (CRA) of 1996 enables Congress to review and disapprove agency rules and regulations. Under the CRA, agencies must submit major rules to Congress and Government Accountability Office before they can take effect. The law provides for expedited procedures for any joint resolution of disapproval. The President can veto the joint resolution of disapproval; however, as with all legislation, Congress can override the President’s veto with a two-thirds vote from each chamber. Congress also has the ability to constrain the executive branch by passing statutes that repeal rules, including appropriations measures that limit funding for the development, implementation, or enforcement of certain rules or types of rules.

          The role of the executive branch, whose activities have wide impact, underscores the critical importance of holding administrative entities accountable for their actions and decisions. Congress has a responsibility to continue strong oversight of this issue to ensure that our branches of government exercise their powers in a manner consistent with the Constitution. Government transparency and accountability are important aspects of a healthy and vibrant democracy, and I support initiatives to reassert public and congressional oversight of government programs and initiatives that have an effect on the American people.

          The delicate relationship that exists between the Legislative and the Executive Branches, as directed in the Constitution, is vital to the effectiveness of the federal government and must be protected. The ultimate check on the conduct of elected officials is the public. Our Founding Fathers envisioned a system of government in which the people would be given the power to regularly review and pass judgment on elected representatives through the ballot box.

Civics 101: The Congress makes law,( the house controls spending), Obumer has no right to make laws only executive orders when absolutely needed. The Supreme Court justifies the laws according to the constitution. (they cannot make any law but it seems they do) The executive branch (Obumer) enforces the laws. Obumer wants to take control of making the laws and to heck with the constitution and enforce the law. In plain and simple terms which I hope your liberal mind can absorb OBAMA WANTS TO BE DICTATOR. Still he was able to start a recover., Then, with the help of Newt Gingrich, he won a Republican majority and enjoyed 30 years of prosperity and in addition to ending the Cold War, under his leadership the US regained the respect of its allies.
          Thanks to our strong economy and, military and regained international respect, we even survived the Clintons.
          So why are you bringing up Reagan when there are all these Marxists, fools, opportunists and the most desructive President in the history of the US to primarily responsible for the mess we are in.
          Thanks to Obama and company, all of that is lost. Folks that think like you are responsible for electing him.

      The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the “No Bell Piece Prize,” but they also awarded him the “Pulletsurprise” as well.

      Clearly old Butch was a Democrat in the making. Who else but a Democrat could figure out how to win two of the most coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the unsuspecting populace and screwing them when they weren’t paying attention.

As for job creation, let me put it as simply as I can …. If I were a millionaire today, I would never open a business or factory knowing full well that ‘unionism’ have destroy jobs in America. But it’s not only unions that kill jobs, our own government are also a culprit that murders businesses in America with their regulations and high taxes.

      Please don’t misunderstand me about unions; there was a time period in our history when unions were a necessary force because employers actually created sweatshops where workers were practically treated as slaves under long working hours and poor working conditions. But all that changed over the years as employers became more understanding and compassionate towards employees. But it wasn’t long before union bosses became greedy and corrupted, and I don’t think I have to explain the end result of greed and corruption.

      I agree that employees need protection for honest wages for labor performed and a clean working environment, but I have never seen a U.S. Representative introduce a bill to protect employers from greedy unionism? And also, I would like to see workers handle their own responsibilities for providing their health insurance as they provide for their own life insurance, automobile insurance, and medical coverage.

      I personally have never taken a thing from our government, and I also provided for my own children’s healthcare until they became emancipated. I worked hard all my life and never leaned upon anyone for my life’s existences.

      Remember that $250 dollars the foreign-born agent Mr. Barack Hussein Obama II stole from the taxpayers? I returned the $250 dollars to Mr. Obama II with a stern letter. He sent it back and I sent it back to the U.S. Treasury Department. I never steal from any hard working American; I earn my money the old fashion way …. I worked for it!

            No, it is not a suprise that the MSM is not covering the Georgia Court proceedings.
            I know your anguish concerning contributing to good causes, However, the more you give the more they want and it is impossible to give to all. There is not a day that goes by that my phone doesn’t ring (at least 5-6 times a day) that the RNC, GOPAC, RSC or some worthy cause is calling asking for money and it is hard to give when your on a fixed income (S/S).
            I tell them that until they start to show me that they are genuinely conservative that they aren’t getting squat, that I am working at the grass roots level with people that I can look straight in the eye and tell them exactly how I feel and helping to get elected. If we can get it done at this level, then the National level will work itself out.
            In this victory at Indianapolis with Right To Work, we had people that I have helped get elected that voted with the Democrats against this bill and you can believe me when I tell you that they know how I feel about their defection, and they haven’t heard the end of me yet.
            The one fellow that voted against the measure was a former union member that when he ran for office, the membership voted against him, in both the primary and the general election, yet he still took the Union side in Right To Work. That to me is plain STUPIDITY.
            I won’t forget those that turn traitor, but they will have to cut my tongue out to keep me from telling them how I feel about their treason. As far as I’m concerned, I would do the same thing to them, that the Marines did to those dead Taliban bodies.

        It’s not surprising the Ford did not take the bailout, since they were a better managed company than GM. Ford had more modern factories and more modern car designs, and all those are good things that Ford should be proud of.

        President Obama doesn’t have a Midas touch, but he did have the good sense not to let GM – the world’s largest car maker – go out of business. That would have destroyed the economies of the mid-west states, with millions more people laid off.

        Even if you think President Obama is a foreign-born, Muslim, influence-peddling, socialist-loving Chicago gangster, saving GM and all the jobs that went with it was a wonderful achievement.

        And it won’t cost us anything in the end, because GM is paying off the loan earlier than expected.

        Now we could talk about bailing out the banks. That as just pouring money into the pockets of rich people who made a mess of things by gambling with someone else’s money … really our money. That makes me sick.

    Food stamps don’t pay the bills, it just provides a very limited amount of food. It is a social pacifier to keep people from getting angry because they are starving. Starvation leads to many, many revolutions. The same with unemployment, it helps a little but is only a fraction of what one makes working. In this economy unemployment is not enough to pay all the bills plus the mortgage for extended periods, that’s why foreclosures are numerous and widespread.

    The key is to keep assistance available to unemployed in place, while creating domestic jobs/opportunities. Then once unemployment drops to 4 or 5 percent nationwide, tighten up on the assistance side. Hungry and desperate people, take desperate measures… Some become destitute and homeless (give up and wait for death), some commit suicide, and others enter a life of violence and crime. During these times even the less desireable jobs are overwhelmed with applicants. Some people take two or three part-time jobs, fast food/restaurants, retail, etc. ….even those minimum wage or less areas receive tidal waves of applicants….so there is not enough jobs left even in those areas for the mass numbers of applicants.     It seems to me consolidating government is just what we asked President Obama to do. And he’s not consolidating power under the executive branch, because the agencies are already under the executive branch. President Obama really only needs congressional authority to get rid of the agencies.

    The executive branch is not allowed to do away with agencies that Congress brought into being through legislation. And rather than ask for every consolidation individually, and go through all the pain of pushing several bills through Congress, President Obama has asked for the authority to create one large consolidation plan that Congress will vote up or down on.

    This is very similar to base closings and budget negotiations. There are too many special interests in Congress to close bases or kill pet projects one at a time. The only way Congress seems to be able to make hard decisions is by rolling them into big ball of shared pain and voting an the whole thing at once.

    So that’s what President Obama has asked for, the authority to come up with the big ball of shared pain so that Congress can make the consolidations that we have all asked them to do. My Senators and Representatives will never let President Obama get away with doing something useful in n election year, so we don’t really have to worry that something might get done. But it’s kind of nice to know the President was listening to us after the 2010 election.

    2. The birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama’s birth as August 4, 1961. It also lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father. No big deal, right? At the time of Obama’s birth, it also shows that his father is age 25 years old and that Obama’s father was born in “Kenya, East Africa”. This wouldn’t seem like anything of concern, except the fact that Kenya did not even exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama’s birth and 27 years after his father’s birth. How could Obama’s father have been born in a country that did not yet exist? Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the “British East Africa Protectorate”.
    The independent Republic of Kenya was founded in December 1963 True.

    3. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the listed place of birth is “Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital”.     We need somebody that has the cahonas to go in there and cut-off all programs except those which were originally setup in the best interest and defense of the American people. At the same time eliminate all Czar’s and departments in which Obama started on his own, along with Obamacare. Then sit down and work out those programs to make them solvent and funded as they should be. These are Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and our Defense Department. Once those are re-structured and set in place, we can then see what is there in revenue and figure a percentage to pay down America’s Debt. What is left over they can take and begin weeding through all of the programs, consolidating, eliminating multiples, eliminating bogus programs and then begin sorting through the thousands of bills in which no one can understand and simplify them.

    There are quite a few people that browse the Internet for ‘information’ about candidates. I seen allegations about some that are just plain, unadulterated bullshit. The Internet is a good thing, but too many believe anything they read there. We’ve always had a few people with the sorry human trait of vandalism in our midst. Some are high tech vandals with the programming skills to write computer viruses and worms. Others WISH they had those skills but have to settle for writing outrageous emails and forwarding them to all their ‘friends’ just to see if it will come back to them. Some emails ‘Go viral’ because people are sucked into the outrageous bullshit. Recent email shows the dollar coin without “In God We Trust”. Of course, “In God We Trust” is on the edge of this coin, but the writer of the email just wants to stir up contoversy over a non-issue. The same email writers also fill Internet websites with falsehoods, often about our candidates. In fact, the LEFT has published articles to encourage Kool-Aid drinkers to do just that. So we have articles about the ‘BILDERBERGS’ and sinister sounding organizations that candidates are said to belong to.

    Pay attention on the Internet. Don’t be played for a fool by the left or by a ‘Would-be-virus-writer’. I just came across an article that portrayed Mr. Obama as an actual prophet that has cured thousands of cancer simply by touching them. Who’s for believing that? How about the ‘Star Chamber’? Soros is a close as we can get to that.

The Second edition of Dr. Williams book is great, and believe me, this book delivers. Once I applied the techniques in the book I start attracting just about everything I ever wanted in Life. We Conservatives need books like this to grow our wealth so we can take down the money/power hungry Communist/Democrats! Dr. Williams did a create service to us Conservatives and the Conservative movement in writing this book and we need to stand behind men like this and support there writing or we won’t have books like this to gain wealth and take down the evil Democrats in this Great Nation.     What I can’t believe is that it seems he has a 50% permanent acolyte base. It used to be that the “bum base” used to be 30%. Any Democrat could be guaranteed 30% of the vote no matter what kind of creep he/she was. That 50%, along with the Billion or more dollars he has will swamp any opposition campaign, the 10-20% of independents will be bent like corn stalks in a cyclone.

    NObama isn’t at fault here. We know he is a racist autocrat but as long as he doles out relief checks to 50% of the people, and they don’t have to pay taxes, he will continue to confiscate 70% of taxes from the top 10% of taxpayers.     Romney made 20 million dollars last year and paid only 14 percent in income tax, but Romney’s own tax plan for all Americans to pay a MINIMUM 25 percent tax. Romney wants all Americans to pay more tax then he does. Romney appears to be in a box, shamed by his low tax rates, he is calling for higher taxes for everyone else. Romney is thinking of scrapping the so-called ” carried interest ” provision that has allowed Romney & other venture capitalists to invest & reap profits at the low capital gains tax rate of 15 percent.

    If ” carried interest ” were scrapped, rates on venture investments could be taxed at NORMAL income rates ! Romney’s plan is FOLLY, says Newt.

    Newt’s plan calls for a flat tax 15 percent income tax for all Americans. Newt has argued he would cut capital gains taxes across the board to zero to stimulate investments & create new jobs. Makes sense to us all ! Vote Newt !!

    Last month I attended my annual training session that’s required for maintaining my state prison security clearance.

    During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic,
    Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs.
    I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say.

    The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

    After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
    When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked:
    ‘Please, correct me if I’m wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that’s the case, can you
    give me the definition of an infidel?’

    There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, ‘Non-believers!’
    I responded, ‘So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill
    everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven.
    Is that correct?’

    The expression on his face changed from one of authority
    and command to that of a little boy who had just been
    caught with his hand in the cookie jar.’
    He sheepishly replied, ‘Yes.’
    I then stated, ‘Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to
    imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!’

    I continued, ‘I also have a problem with being your friend
    when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:
    Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?’

    You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his
    head in shame.

    Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the
    ‘Diversification’ training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims’ beliefs.

    In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the
    U.S. to elect the President!

    I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely
    publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference….
