‘Get your paws off our laws!’

My pick for best bumper sticker so far in 2012 goes to Missouri Farmers Care for their “HSUS & PETA, Get Your Paws Off Our Laws!” sticker I saw last week at their booth at the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture in Kansas City.

The Missouri Farmers Care group has been leading the fight against the Your Vote Counts Committee, which has disclosed that the vast majority of their funding comes from extremist animal-rights groups and donors outside of Missouri.

In a press release from Missouri Farmers Care, Chairman Don Nikodim said the Your Vote Counts Committee is about “giving more power to out-of-state special interests like HSUS and ASPCA. These animal-rights extremists are just trying to make it easier to advance their anti-hunting and anti-agriculture agenda.”

            A lot of meats are eaten purely based upon cultural preference. Anyone who has traveled for any length of time in the rest of the world can easily attest to that (as long as you weren’t the Club Med type) and actually got out to eat with the natives. Some people have strict dietary laws, or religious prohibitions, but what one eats isn’t always based upon “taste.” If properly cleaned, many meats are quite good, and rather surprising.

            I prefer buffalo to beef, I think native Americans were right on that one. Also, snake isn’t too bad, and no more strange than frog or turtle. I don’t care for armadillo (often carries leprosy), or fruit bat meat (in Guam it carries Lytico-Bodig disease), so one has to be aware and not eat it blindly. Read up in medical journals, or veterinary articles before you go native.

            It’s a bounty out there! Dig in.

            Yes, I know. I went through this a couple of months ago and the best info I could get is that this site is on Greenwich Mean time. Greenwich is a suburb of London so we are about six hours behind the USA Eastern Daylight time. This is used for the standard of time throughout the world.

      I love cows (cattle) and chickens, turkey and all kinds of fish. I like them roasted, broiled, grilled, fried, baked, but I like them cooked through.

      (My body doesn’t like pigs. I have had problems with pigs since I had gastric bypass surgery. I don’t know what happened, but I have big problems digesting pork. I had no trouble before the surgery, but boy, now I sure do. And I used to eat ribs, roasts and chops with the best of them!!! I can do a little bit of it, but not a 6 to 8 ounce serving size.)

        But on a serious note, I would like to speak to anyone wishing to become a pet owner. I live close to a major metropolitian area and live in the country. My back yard seems to be the perfect dumping grounds for unwanted pets. Sure puppies and kittens are cute when you first get them. But when they get a little older and keep pissing on your floor, have the responcibilty to take them to a shelter. Don’t just “take them for a ride” and make bthem someone else’s problem. I don’t really like cats. But the sight of them walking by the side of the road starving makes me sick. I keep a bowl of food outside just in case it will help them.

          Mr. Right: My wife and I have the same problem with city folks dumping their unwanted “pets” in our front yard out here in the “sticks.” We too keep a bowl of food on the front porch so they don’t starve. It sometimes becomes pretty expensive taking care of other people’s cats and dogs, but the upside is that we no longer have any field mice running around the place.

          By the way, for anyone out there who hasn’t given it much thought yet, for any law, rule, order, statute, etc. to pass constitutional muster, it must be in compliance with our U.S. Constitution. If it fails to meet that requirement, it is totally unconstitutional and no one is bound to obey it despite what any segment of government claims.

            We have the same problem but I don’t know how you can keep up with feeding them. It’s not just the ones that get dumped but then they mate and have kittens. And keeping a bowl of food on the stoop brought in skunks. Sorry to say but sooner or later we have to dispose of some of them :( So you city dwellers who thought the kitten was cute but don’t want the cat, think of that the next time to dump one. A bullet blowing it’s skull apart. Not a pretty site and not something we like to do but after you get a dozen or more cats hanging around the place without rabies protection, you start worrying about the grandkids and do what you have to do.

            I grew up in West Texas. I used to feed sagebrush lizards to my pet snakes. The lizard is still one of the snake’s main menu items. If a snake on the “endangered list” list eats a lizard on the “endangered list,” who gets sued?

          PETA and others want all breeding stop.
          I too put out food for the hungry and have taken in some during my life time. But those drop off pups or kittens I guarentee you they did not pay for the parents. They did not go to a breeder and pay over 500.00 for the parents. If they were pure bred dogs they would had been sold with AKC,CKC,APRI, papers.
          PETA and others say it’s the breeders who make these unwanted pets. I don’t think so… if you paid say 900.00 for open AKC ( and that’s cheap) and you breed to another 900.00 AKC dog are you going to dump off the pups?????
          This is what PETA and others want you to think.
          And apply that to the people who buy the pups/kittens paying “hundreds” of dollars are they going to let them just run?
          People who gt the “free” or CHEAP pups see No value in them, yes they are loved but that’s not value. And think I’m not going to spend $200 or more to get them fixed… when I got it for 175.00 or cheaper. They are running, and with my luck if I get them fixed they will come up missing so why put the money out.
          I have heard this way of thinking many times!!!

          In our area all you have to do is call the Humane Society and they will gladly come and pick up your pet. The phone call and a small donation is a lot less expensive than using the gas to go out in the country to dump them to say nothing of the fine you will get if the police catch you doing it. The humane Society has a good track record for finding homes for them.

            There are far to many domestic cats and dogs around. Many don’t make good pets and have to be killed. Notice I didn’t say “put to sleep” or “put down”. The situation has to be dealt with in a sober manner. No, it’s not pleasant to see an animal killed even in a humane way but, that’s reality. People who feed ferrel cats out of kind ole sweeeeet feeeelings are just plain stupid. They don’t care how much damage they are doing as long as they can indulge those “feeeelings”.

          Yeah, we grew up on a back road. My dad had to shoot a couple stray dogs that attacked our animals. Some of them were nice, but they were hungry. If you dump them the farmer isn’t going to just start feeding them and give them a home. If you dump a cat without claws it can’t hunt, and if it never learned how to hunt it might have the guts to learn if it isn’t a welfare cat. Now mind you I have a welfare cat and love it, but even if I killed a mouse for it she would wonder what was for supper. As far as eating skunk…not sure about that. Course, I said that about squirrel, and that’s tasty. But, my mother in law says you have to know how to butcher them. I thought my husbands family was a bit redneck…but they always eat well. Oh, and they don’t much like welfare cats.

          One Sunday morning several years ago, while farming in NB ,We were on the way to church and in 1 mile We picked up 2 litters of pupiesold[ enough to wean]and took them bacxk to the house.The temperature was near zero so had to get them to shelter.It is a sorry excuse for a human being that will do this.

          OK Mr. Right. I retract my previous statement about you. We rescue stray cats and find good homes for them. Right now 4 of our cats were part of a litter that the mother cat abandoned several years ago. They are our “kids”. We are in our late 70′s and early 80′s so they kinda take the place of the those that left the nest and are raising their own families now. Kinda makes me warm and fuzzy when I sit down in my lazyboy and one of them jumps up in my lap purring like a contented diesel engine and goes to sleep knowing they are safe and secure.

Last November, the Department of Defense abruptly, and without public justification, excluded Hawker Beechcraft from consideration for the contract. The contract was subsequently awarded to Embraer – the only remaining bidder. The contract decision was made despite the fact that Embraer is currently under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for corruption and bribery.
      The American-made Hawker Beechcraft AT-6 solution would create and sustain 1,400 long-term jobs in the U.S. The Brazilian-made Embraer EMB-314 solution presents the opportunity for a mere 50 final assembly jobs in the U.S. and will sustain long-term jobs only in Brazil. In these troubling economic times, politicians and military officials should seize every opportunity to foster job growth here at home instead of providing an economic boost to other countries.

    AWESOME !!! I WANT ONE ! In Colorado, the HSUS had their noses so far into a trial against a lady regarding her livestock that the judge would not even allow the word LIVESTOCK to be used when the law clearly defines what breeds are livestock vs pets. She had her livestock (rabbits in this case) confiscated in a very UNLAWFUL manner. They entered her property (they meaning AC and the tree huggers) while she was at work and began removing her stock and shoving them into cat carriers and dog carriers. She got home and was STOPPED from taking pictures of her OWN PROPERTY and her own STOCK by 5 police officers who told her she’d be arrested. On top of this they had no warrant. The rabbits sat in these carriers in the sun (it was summer) and AC wouldn’t allow her son to water the animals though they begged. It’s a long drawn out affair but the crux of this is that AC broke every Constutional law they could … they said it would cost her $25,000 to get her rabbits back (they were worth $17,000) and within a month and BEFORE HER DAY IN COURT they spayed and neutered all the rabbits and had adopted them out. THIS IS OUTRAGE on the part of every livestock owner in the USA. Finally on the 23rd of this month she got her day in court and the Judge stated that Livestock was not to be used during the trial. HSUS was supporting the city and the jury was already biased because of the media blitz … They showed 7 pictures taken to show the absolutely worst possible condition in a barn full of rabbits… ANGORA rabbits to boot. The owner was charged with abuse because of matts on the rabbits (Angoras ALWAYS have matts unless going into a show ring) and they said the heat level was 3 degrees above what as allowed when the Animal Rights Nuts, themselves, had opened all the doors on her buildings and turned off fans and swamp coolers. Is THIS WHAT WE”RE FACING??? TOTALLY a violation of her civil and CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS !

    If this is allowed to stick… and God willing she can afford an appeal….this poor woman’s reputation is destroyed… she isn’t allowed to ever have animals again… and the HSUS has another “star” in their “halo”. PLEASE help fight this or we’ll all be sitting without our animals… be they pet or livestock !!!

        I never ever donate to the idiot PETA people or the HSUS because I do not believe they have the animals best interest at heart. Their work only makes the humans (if you can call them that) feel better. They seem to think they can save the world. I can think of a lot better uses for their time and money than sticking their noses into my friend the farmer and rancher’s business. I think my friends, the farmers and ranchers, who raise animals for us to eat know a lot more about what constitutes abuse than these other idiots do. I’ve never seen a rancher or farmer abuse his animals.

        Back in 1978 and 1979, I lived on a feedlot very near Billings, Montana. The owner of the outfit had one cardinal rule: If you crash a piece of equipment, no problem. But if you hurt one of the animals, you are gone! I never saw any of the cowboys (yes, they used horses in their work) abuse any of the critters – and that includes the dogs and stray cats that hung around. Other ranchers brought their cattle to them to feed (finish) to sell for slaughter, and I’ll wager they had easily well over 3,000, probably more, cattle in the feedlot. I remember one night, one of the steers got hung up on the fencing, and had broken one of it’s legs. They shot it because there was no saving the animal, and gave each of us that worked there, some of the meat. These people had more respect for the animals than some people have for their fellow humans.

          I find it very interesting just how much of the money people donate to these organizations really goes to the care and treatment of animals, and how much goes to the administration and executive salaries. I have heard figures of like 1% actually is spent on care and treatment with the rest going for salaries.

      Well I have something all of you should now. I say this as a former police officer. The US Supreme Court has already ruled that a private citizen can use up to and including lethal force to stop a cop misbehaving under the color of law. That conduct is a felony for a cop. Yes you had better be darn sure you are right and the cop is wrong. But given what you have just wrote the only reason that could have entered the property without a warrant is because of probable cause (PC)….the same level of PC that must be given to a judge to issue a warrant AND then it must because the evidence or the suspect are at risk of disappearing right then and there. Baring that a Warrant is required. But clearly stopping you from taking pictures on your own property is a clear cut violation by the cops. If I were her I would sue the darn pants off them and also have my lawyer see who else they have done this to to get a class action. NOTHING BUT NOTHING gets the governments attention like losing money. Then I would go after them criminally for violating my 4th and 14th Amendment rights. But a lawyer can tell you more and correctly. Just my 2 cents worth.

That I think would be the first place I would start looking and if (s)he does not do anything then go to your nearest television station and make them a movie star this is the media and sometimes they can and do get you some answers to your problems. If you find it sound then take it and go full swing against the police department and make them tell you(r) friend and see what other channels you can take. Then I would go to your state senator and ask his advice. Mam the Senator should be able to help you and that she should be able to get some of her animals back. None of them like very high heat (makes them tough), so we have to keep the air conditioning going all summer so they stay nice and cool. (One concept is you have to be a citizen of a country to betray it) Barracks citizenship, no his very existence is in doubt. He has no paper trail. He has gone to extremes to keep his childhood a complete secret. There are reasonable doubts he was born in the united states, there are KNOWN facts that if he is who he says he is, that his father was NEVER a US Citizen. But we can’t prove he is Barrack Obama OR Barry Soetoro, or any name associated with the many SSANs he has used.

    The problem with these two organization is they try to elevate the animals above the humans. This is absurd. I have one cat and I would never use it. It is a domestic cat and am not sure it is good for much. My father was a farmer and had multiple problems with mice in his grain storage. He tried D-con and other baits to no avail. Then came along a wild cat. What a mouser this one was. He corrected the problem in a short period of time. Every time we lifted a bail of hay the cat was there to get the mice. Once I lifted a bail of hay and from underneath six mice darted out and the cat caught all and had all six mice in its mouth at the same time in under two seconds. It was amazing to watch. This cat saved the day for my father. What a mouser. My father would feed it milk just to keep it around. All animals have their place in this old world and we should not abuse them but we should not elevated them either. It is called mutual respect.

      Every animal has it’s purpose. GOD would not have made anything for no reason. Some animals are for food, but some animals(as your Dad’s cat) are for keeping disease down and keeping the earth clean. There is nothing like a good mouse catching cat,and protecting the property dog! Remember, any scavenger(buzzards, catfish, etc,)are for cleaning up the garbage…………………..that’s why we are not supposed to eat them!!

    For some strange reason, I was a vegetarian until I was 11 years old. I wouldn’t touch meat in those years. My uncle gave me a dime to eat one bite of chicken fried steak. How many of you remember what the first meat was that you ate? Stand up and testify! After the first bite, I ate the whole piece of steak and had a dime in my pocket too. In 1958, a dime was worth a dime, especially to a broke old farm boy. Since then, I have ate cow, hog, chicken, quail, squirrel, rabbit, lamb, fish, shrimp, scallops, stingray, oysters (preferable raw), shark, rattlesnake, dove, duck & goose Yep, blame on my dear old unk bribing me.     The last several elections, I have struggled and voted for the lesser of two evils. We can no longer afford to vote this way. We must have a candidate who will follow our Constitution and follow in the footsteps of our forefathers in their faith in the Lord. Stop looking at international law but at our founding documents. Men who are not afraid to go on bended knee to pray to our Lord. Men who fear our Lord. Men who will listen and follow our Lord. We have lived in darkness for too long. We have been silent for too long and allowed our country to back slide to where it is today. Good men can no longer remain silent. Good men need to rise up and place our country back on it’s rightful course. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke) WE have done nothing for too long. It is time to restore our families to a mother and a father, married in the eyes of the Lord. For men to be leaders in their home and community. To set strong examples of character and integrity to their children and to raise their children up to be leaders as well. Are Godly men ready to step up and step out.

    1. The food we eat has been altered without proper testing.
    2. The medicine we GET to have isn’t tested very well, either, and anything not a Big Pharma drug is run off.
    3. If you manage to make a profit on your home, you get taxed. But NO deduction for you if you sell at a loss!
    4. If you travel, you get treated like a criminal because common sense is not allowed for TSA.
    5. We landfill plastics when even the Japanese have figured out how to convert plastic BACK INTO OIL!
    6. The entire Congress can’t figure out where our current president was born, or whether he really is eligible or not.

    Here is some garden prose I wrote some time back I hope you enjoy it.

    I chanced upon an old farmer the other day, while shopping. “How does he get anything done”, I quipped to myself, “he is so slow”. He was just going about his daily business—business as usual. Too him life is not a race but he does need to accomplish the tasks of the day and that means sometimes (almost always) putting in the hours, hours the 8 to 5 fellow does not understand. He is not compensated for those extra hours by getting extra on the paycheck but he does know for a surety that the tasks have to be completed. He is never harried, sometimes hurried but never harried. He is on the Lord’s time. He realizes that the limitations are imposed upon him by the Lord and his many years of experience have taught him the limitations. He is aware of his surroundings—he has to be! He is aware of the weather for the next week, he knows, when it is important, when the next freeze will be. He knows each of his animals and he is not abusive to them because they are his livelihood. He cares for, he tends, he is their doctor and their master. He is not a slave driver but rather a husbandman, a steward. He cares for, he nourishes, and he also loves his work, he is the good master. He is on the Lord’s time.

    HSUS and PETA are among the liberal fanatics that have helped to prevent the sale of good high protein and very delectable horse meat in our markets which in turn keeps the price of beef inflated. I myself opt for steroid and antibiotic free wild venison which is higher in protein and is lower in both fat and cholesterol than almost any other meat. I harvest one every fall. Don’t get me wrong now, I will enjoy a nice rare beef steak from time to time and pork tenderloin cooked on the grill is hard to beat. I certainly enjoy chicken cooked almost any way you can think of and I try to consume at least one portion of fish every week. But my regular staple for red meat is venison.

      Beefalo is also lower in fat and cholesterol. It cooks faster than beef. Had a relative who was working on increasing the population of them. They had to cross breed the buffalo with the beef cows via artificial means as a bull buffalo and a regular size cow could or either would not mate (i forget which).
      I have a whole large venison shoulder in the freezer right now along with some steaks and roasts from one that I cut up. The rest is already gone and eaten.

    What many people don’t seem to understand is; this is a religion you are talking about. These people blindly believe that animals have as much right to live here as humans. I hear children who have been raised in the public education system spout that belief all the time. The name of this religion is New Age. It has many sects to which most Liberals belong. Even if they don’t, they do subscribe to many of the doctrines of the New Age. It is also known as Spiritualism, Theosophy, Lucius Trust, Freemasonry, etc…. This is spiritual warefare we are against which has infected most the institutions in this country. It has taken the public educational system over completely. We have lost that one. The main stream churches are almost completely gone, too. They got to them in the church universities.

    Here are their MAIN doctrines:

    1. Evolution-the world came into being this way-no criticism of it is tolerated–with enough effort humans can evolve to a higher level.
    2. All ways lead to God-all religions are right-it’s wrong to say any way is better.
    3. Human spirit lives on forever in different forms-those alive can communicate with it.
    4. Humans are animals with no more rights than other animals.
    5. Population control must be practiced to save the Earth-so on and so on-support for abortion and strict population reduction/control–Global Warming etc….
    6. The Earth is a living thing–Mother Earth is alive–Global Warming-etc….
    7. How we think and act is influenced by Astrology
    8. The belief that life on Earth may have come from another planet (more recent belief)

    Those are just some doctrines that come to mind….These people are willing to do anthing to achieve their goal of world domination….It is the mindset behind Obama Care, Cap and Trade and much of the recent things Obama has signed into law….They don’t care if we get medical care or not. The purpose of that whole thing is to kill off people; namely the unborn and elderly….Their goal is a ONE WORLD RELIGION …..NEW AGE

    During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic,

    I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say.

    The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

    After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
    When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked:
    ‘Please, correct me if I’m wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that’s the case, can you
    give me the definition of an infidel?’

    There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, ‘Non-believers!’
    I responded, ‘So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill
    everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven.
    Is that correct?’

    The expression on his face changed from one of authority
    and command to that of a little boy who had just been
    caught with his hand in the cookie jar.’
    He sheepishly replied, ‘Yes.’
    I then stated, ‘Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to
    imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr.Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!’
    The Muslim was speechless!

    I continued, ‘I also have a problem with being your friend
    when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:
    Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?’

    You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his
    head in shame.

    Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the
    ‘Diversification’ training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims’ beliefs.

    In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the
    U.S. to elect the President!

    I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely
    publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference….

    Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg. All my “horsey” friends along with farmers and feedlot people are already aware of the NAIS. That’s where they demand that every single animal on your “premises” must have a micro chip. All eggs and fruit bearing plants and trees are supposed to be registered with the local authorities as well. (and there are myriad agencies and growing every day.) The next thing is that YOUR property is considered a “premises” and as such isn’t governed by those pesky rules and laws about private property. Your veterinarian will soon become just another arm of the FDA and all the rest of the alphabet soup brigade with their arrogant and unreasonable attitude. We are all going to be monitored AT HOME and woe to the person who goes to a horseshow with their kids pony WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHORITIES or has some baby chicks that aren’t microchipped. Let alone growing some food that the FDA has deemed an untested “drug” like walnuts. Don’t just believe me, look it up for yourself.

    Having myself served time in the military have no desire to kill animals just for the sake of killing. Yet I see no reason people should be terrorized by animals invading thier living space or any animals including vicious dogs that have invaded thier home acreage and thier pets and children are endangered. That said I find no fault with people who hunt to put food on the table and feed thier families. These ou6tside groups who stick thier noses in other peoples lives should just simply butt out. In many cases hunting stays in families over long periods and is a cultural thing rather than just killing without fore-thought on thier part. these people have
    a constitutional right to live and practice the folk lore of thier heritage and they are right in telling these people to “Get Thier Paws Off Our Laws”.

    This is a self-inflicted wound. The American people have voted themselves into a hole where private property rights are now non-existent, this encompasses ANYTHING you own. So I would ask this woman if she ever voted for a Democrat (American Socialist Party) and if so she got exactly what she voted for.
    I have no love for many Repubilcans, especially those like Romney but the philosophy is different. Voters must IGNORE what they say and look to what they have DONE.
    The obvious Socialists (and RINOS like Bush 1) when in power put liberal judges in place that think the Constitution is a door mat and will look offshore if needed for excuses the violate our rights. The funny part is that FDR shut the Constitution off with a permanent state of emergency so its been in limbo since the 1930s. Look it up.
    We are supposed to CONTROL this sort of thing by voting. But people never pay attention. The Politicians count on our apathy and disgusts to keep people who DO think away from the polls.
    So politicians ESPECIALLY conservatives are invariably smeared with sh*t to discourage people from voting. Clinton got away with adultery, rape and lying under oath, Gore with money laundering and who knows what else. .
    So think about all this the next time you vote, as if it will do any good at this late date.
    Obama is making promises to try to buy the election (teachers should get 6 figure salaries for indoctrinating and failing to properly educate our children is an example). But most school teachers will vote for him anyway. I am sure that PETA and HSUS will endorse him. Along with all the Environmentalist organizations (the haven for anti-capitalist socialists and communists its where they can do the most “good” in hamstringing the economy) and other fringe groups, many of whom think we need to cut the population of the planet by 2/3s. Hoping for some virus that will wipe us out. Then we all those have been taught by their teachers that America is “bad”, the rich are “bad”, the American Military is full of baby killers and that we are oppressing “poor” people around the world.
    The bus has run down hill and has reached the hairpin curve and is going over the cliff folks.
    You no longer live in the America you lived in 5 years ago, I don’t live in the same America that I grew up in it has incrementally changed with each idiotic regulation, law and appointment stating when FDR, the great socialist was elected. But he is likely going to loose this title now though.

      Can you remember buying a car that didn’t have seatbelts? Remember a time before a law was made that forced your kids (under 12 years old) to sit in the back seat? or when you could ride in the bed of a pickup truck? go to the drug store and buy otc anti-histamine tablets for sinus/hayfever relief without having to sign your life away? ( and they only cost .16 cents instead of $2.00 a tablet). Gasoline was 23.9 cents per gallon and motor oil was 35 cents a quart. (today gasoline is $3.499 per gallon and motor oil is $2.29 per quart)? AND the Humane Society actually did some good?
      Now, everything we do cost at least 15 to 20 times more and the Humane Society has turned into the Animal Rights Arm of the Socialist/Communist Democrat Party.
      WHY IN THE HELL can’t people just leave things alone? Why do we need for some MORON to constantly be trying to reinvent the egg? Change all of the laws that they never had time to enforce to begin with?
      We elect someone that we think is just like us, then they get a position of authority and all they can do is see how many new LAWS & REGULATIONS they can force on the general public. I think it is about time that we go back to the way things used to be,that is, when someone offends you or trespasses on your property, KNOCK the Hell out of them, don’t call the law,. Let the Law take care of the things we can’t take care of ourself. If you beat some knots on some A-holes head that deserves it, they will respect you more and leave you alone after that. This has worked for centuries but now everybody is afraid to get in trouble for defending theirself, because some sleazbag attorney will sue you.

    Every time I hear that I want to puke. Apathy put Obama in the White House and Apathy will put him back there for another four years. By then I am sure he will find a way to repeal the Twenty-Second Amendment so Apathy can keep him there for life. I don’t blame the clowns that voted him into office. At least they voted. The thing we need to get this country back on track and off the road to socialism isn’t going to happen. Not unless some miracle happens that gets a lot more people to vote.

    In the past elections, less than 50%, of those eligible, even bothered to vote. A politician’s worse nightmare is if everyone eligible voted. Then they would have to work for their constituents and there is no money in that. Republicans as well as Democrats all get contributions from special interests lobbies. WE have the best politicians money can buy. The people that don’t vote all have their reasons. Many people I talk to seem to have an ostrich mentality. They stick their heads in the sand hoping it will all go away. They don’t vote or pay attention to what is going on and they refuse to talk about it, because it is too depressing or confusing. So they grab a beer out of the refrigerator, sit in their easy chair and watch sports or soaps.

    I started voting when I turned 21 and haven’t missed an election since. For the 22 years I served in uniform, I was always able to take the time to vote even when I was assigned overseas. Now that the Democrats and RINOs are doing their best to bring this country down, the more than 50% of those eligible still chose to stay away from the polls on election day. Now many of them are crying because an arrogant, socialist and potential dictator, and his followers were put in office by a minority of voters. They are calling him a traitor and guilty of treason but they choose to do nothing about it themselves.

    I don’t blame the clowns that voted him into office. At least they voted. The real traitors are the ones who complain about who is in office but refuse to vote. In my opinion, they are just as guilty of High Treason as they claim Obama is. They did just as much to help him get elected as the clowns that voted for him. The day of the rude awakening is coming and they may soon pay the price for their apathy when it is too late to do anything about it. Apathy put Obama and his followers in power and apathy will keep them there for another four years. If the day of the rude awakening comes, the non-voters will be in for a shock when they are taken from their plush homes in the suburbs and moved to cramped apartments in the major cities with only the bare necessities, or into FEMA camps with even less. Many of the non-voters are crying about that NDAA that Obama just signed. If you check you will find that a large majority of Republicans also voted for it. Think about that when you stay home on election day.

    In the past I have pointed out some of the reasons people don’t vote. One more reason is Jury Duty. There are those of you who think that you will not get selected for Jury Duty if you aren’t registered to vote. You better make sure. A coworker of mine couldn’t understand how he got selected for Jury Duty because he wasn’t registered to vote. I just laughed and told him that, in our state, it doesn’t matter if you are or aren’t registered to vote. If you have a Drivers License or a state issued identification card, you can be selected for Jury Duty.

    Don’t take my word for all of this. You can do your own research, or you can just pretend to be an ostrich and stick your head in the sand and wait for that rude awakening. If Joseph McCarthy were still alive, he would be saying “I TOLD YOU SO!”

    As for the hunters going after defenseless innocent animals when they are too chicken to go against another man in a ring or a bar fight and just because they don’t have the guts to be a vegetarian or vegan. Now a real man is a vegan or vegetarian not one who eats animals esp. today with Morningstar, Bocco and other ones that taste better than meat. There is no excuse except that you are the real animal going after other animals. Then you go to church on Sunday hypocrites eating and wearing dead animals. Is there not some where in those scriptures you love to pass back and forth to love all God’s creatures? Really big men and sportsman to find ducks just sitting there and shoot them or when the ducks fly low going South and North to be waiting there to shoot them, Cheney shooting caged animals, shooting the deer and their bow and arrow blood baths, You cry foul when they want to use embryos to help save or make lives better , yet you go after living beings causing them pain and death, there is no Religion, or any God, where there is forgiveness.

    You can shoot an animal, because of stupidity. The wild rabbits that are the most shot for their fur, meat and sport are the sweetest animals. They would be your friend, your pet and you lose out by shooting them. They mate for life and love their families and much as people. I saw a pair of wild rabbits out in the back yard and it looked like they kissed each other on the lips.. When you kill the mother wild rabbit just like with all the other animals you then kill their babies. So you are nothing but chicken shit baby killers too. We had 4 litters of baby bunnies in our yard last year just l0 days old because they had just opened their eyes at l0 days? Beautiful babies you kill when you kill the mother and you call yourselves men. The same way if you let your house cat run, because every time they get out they kill and the torture the wild animals. I can give you a long list why it is too dangerous for the cats to run too. If you are going to let your cat out then get a statue of a cat instead of a real cat. Use a aluminum pop cat with pennies in it and stand by the doors every time someone goes in and out and shake it and they will run from the noise, esp if you have a 4 paw declawed cat who can’t even climb a tree. A Feral cat only eats, because they are hungry they don’t torture the wild animals like the house cat does every time they gets out making you no different that these hunters.

    You are just as stupid when it comes to picking politicians on both sides of the aisle and not admitting when you are wrong. Then so called Democrat US Moran of VA said the reason he voted for CATA was he felt sorry for the people of South America. What about feeling sorry for his own people the US citizens? They like their politicians flamboyant in VA and he is certainly that.. Moran was a boxer and read he got into fights with a couple of the Republicans on the floor but got by with it.       Many can say Agenda 21 but they will not talk about it. I would love to see one question asked of all the candidates in the debates. “Where do you stand on United Nations Agenda 21 and do you support its implementation in America?” But we all know that even FOX News will not ask that question.

      It is true that on June 9, 2011 President Obama signed Executive Order 13575, but since Agenda 21 was first proposed in 1992, similar orders were signed by Presidents Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43. This brings up a very important question for voters. Who can we really trust? How do we know if the Republicans, fighting for the nomination, would or would not sign a similar order if one of them becomes President? Looking at the events that have been happening in my life, I am beginning to believe that the only difference between the two parties is their name.

      Of the few Americans who know about UN Agenda 21 many dismiss it saying that it could never happen here. These people are in a place called “Denial”. They make up a large part of the 50% plus who are eligible to vote but choose to stay away from the poles on election days. They are convinced that Agenda 21 could never happen in America. They refuse to talk about it because it is too depressing or they are convinced that it is all a fantastic fantasy dreamed up by a bunch of alarmists. All they care about is being able to watch their sports or soaps. They have an ostrich mentality. They stick their heads in the sand hoping it will all go away. This is the apathy I have been talking about. They will soon be paying the price for it when they are taken from their plush homes in the suburbs and moved to cramped apartments in the major cities with only the bare necessities or into FEMA camps with even less. Don’t take my word for it. Google United Nations Agenda 21 and do your own research, or you can just stick your head in the sand and wait for that rude awakening.     For the men (assuming of course, could be some pitiful adolescent) who bragged about eating animals that are our companions and friends (dogs, cats, horses etc…) you aren’t funny, you aren’t “cute”. As for “Joe”, its against the law to torture cats and dogs , as you and your friends did. Psychiatrists say kids who enjoy torturing and killing helpless cats, dogs and other small animals are likely to be sociopaths and psychopaths. One must respect all life and kill animals only to eat. God gave the Hebrew people specific instrusctions on how to kill the animal that was to be sacrificed; swift and painless, i.e.kosher. Enoch said that in the Last Day the animals will judge mankind. Hope God will have mercy on you and your cat killers.

      Linda, let’s hope it was just their morbid sense of humor. Being cruel to animals is a big no, no. We are to treat them with care and respect. When we kill for food it should be done with care. My son had to shoot a dog once who was killing one of the goats on the farm. He was very disturbed by the incident and regreted having to shoot the dog. It’s sometimes necessary but, we should take no pleasure in those things.
