Obama Set to Cost Each of Us Hundreds a Year in Higher Electric Costs

Dale, there is a problem with “we the people.” We fail to vote out of office those who fail their constituents. Are we too lazy to keep ourselves informed, or is this a backlash from belonging to, and voting according to, the idioms of one political party–no matter what?

Very simply it IS “we the people['s]” fault.

We got comfortable and complacent. We let history evolve into social studies. We eliminated civics from the curriculum to teach sex education. We spent more time on recreation than continuing education. We closed our eyes to the media as all forms turned yellow.

Now that we realize what was going on around us, what we let happen, it is time to step out of our confort zone, to “think outside the box”.

Read, but fact check everything you read or hear.
Form a “grassroots” neighborhood committee.
Invite and RETAIN your non-political neighbors.
Send representatives to your precinct, borough, or Town committee meetings, for both major parties.
Carry your message to the meetings, stand up here; it is your first step working within the system to effect change.
Submit your name for nomination at your Committee caucus, get elected, and be seated as a regular member with voting rights.
Stay in touch with your base at the neighborhood grassroots meetings.
Carry their message back to the Committees.
Elect State central members who represent YOUR voice and your NEIGHBORS wishes.
Select candidates who represent you “the people” and work their campaigns to get them elected.
Don’t preach to the choir. Get out of your comfort zone and take your message to those people who DON’T agree with you.
Go back to your neighborhood grassroots meeting and start over.

When we do this regularly and we fail, THEN we can blame someone else. Until then, our future is in our hands.

Stop voting for the establishment.

They just closed a power plant in Williamsport MD due to the EPA crap. Laid off 35 workers and now have to go else where for the power. GOP and other lawmakers need to step in and curtail this stuff. Damn sick and tired of stuff being shoved down my throat that costs me more money and does not have to be that way. Time to start reminding the politicos about us throwing more of them out of office that go along with these crack pot ideas. Obozo does not give a damn about it other than appeasing the tree huggers for their votes.

The Enemy is in the House, they want to dismantle the America that we have known and loved. Make no mistake folks America is sick, in fact she may be on her death bed. We have lost our patriotism, our morality, and our spirtual life, the three things joseph stalin said would resist infiltration. He said if they could ever undermine any or all of those things, America would collapse from within. Our Whitehouse, and our House of Representatives has been infiltrated with a silent stealth by the Socialist caucus.

This has already happened. We live in the Cleveland, Ohio area, and yesterday’s Cleveland Plain Dealer had a front page story: “First Energy to close 4 plants”. Why? Obama and the EPA. The FE rep said “they can not perform the costly regulatory changes and are closing the plants”. This moron in the WH, and his, out of control EPA, are going to be the ruin of our energy supply, and then what?

As we remember and I quote my policies will necessarly cause energy prices to skyrocket, so now we have gas creeping back up to 3.50/gallon and no telling where it will stop at now we will have higher than ever electric bills just where will it end, I just hope the idiots that elected this creep get the highest bills of everyone then maybe these idiots will rethink about re-electing this moron next november………..the best president ever, my ass hurts, they should take him out and tar and feather that clown

There are still people out there that say Obama hasn’t kept ANY of his campaign promises, but I remind them he promised that under his energy plan “energy rates would skyrocket” and he’s kept THAT promise. Thank you Barack Hussein Obama for the increase in energy prices and for all the millions down the drain for your “green-machine” that’s gone belly up. What an amazing President you are. We humble servants should kiss your and Michelle’s feet as we bow in awe.

You know, our retirement accounts have taken a dive. Lost so much money since he took office. Now, one of us has been unemployed for nearly 2 years…..and no we don’t get any benefits, no food stamps, nothing. The other one has a 12.00 / hour job. Barely pays the mortgage and gas to get to the job. So our credit card is carrying us. If we dump some of our retirement accounts, the hit we would take on penalties is less of a hit than what they have already have taken due to the obuma economy. At least it would pay off our credit card and give some cash reserves …just to survive.

Carbon and Life
It is hard to overstate the importance of carbon; its unique capacity for forming multiple bonds and chains at low energies makes life as we know it possible, and justifies an entire major branch of chemistry – organic chemistry – dedicated to its compounds. In fact, most of the compounds known to science are carbon compounds, often called organic compounds because it was in the context of biochemistry that they were first studied in depth.

What makes carbon so special is that every carbon atom is eager to bond with as many as four other atoms. This makes it possible for long chains and rings to be formed out of them, together with other atoms – almost always hydrogen, often oxygen, sometimes nitrogen, sulfur or halides. The study of these is the basis of organic chemistry; the compounds carbon forms with metals are generally considered inorganic. Silicon is capable of forming the same sorts of bonds and structures, but opinion is divided on whether silicon-based life forms are a realistic prospect – in part because it needs higher energies to form them, and in part because whereas carbon dioxide (one of the main by-products of respiration, a process essential to all known life) is a gas and therefore easy to remove from the body, its counterpart silicon dioxide (silica) has an inconveniently high melting point, posing a serious waste disposal problem for any would-be silicon-based life form.

Those voters can’t see the forest because of the trees! You can’t talk sense into them because they are basically indoctrinated into believing whatever their political party tells them. Instead of doing the research and learning what is really happening in corrupt politics, those drones would rather treat politics as some type of game. They have no idea of what the final outcome will be in the long run but only that they want their team to win! If their man gets elected, but government fails to achieve whatever the voter wants, then it’s always the opposition’s fault. i.e. Obama still blaming Bush for his failings and the treasonous Socialist Democrat Party drones accepting that excuse. On the other side, the Republican “leadership” (a very loose term) can do much to improve the way Washington Government functions, but they simply sit back on their hands and watch the Country fall apart? After all, both the Socialist Democrats and the do nothing Republicans are comfortable in their private social clubs known a the Senate and Congress. They don’t want to rock the boat.

As a group, the stupid voters deserve everything negative that they get, but unfortunately the rest of us are dragged down the drain with them. Politicians count on the fact that the average voters are too stupid to catch-on to the sham being played on them. The “News” Media is complicit in the ruination of this country. The owners of the big new agencies are the 1960′s wanna be Communist college students now in control of the propaganda tool sold as “News.” I think that it will take a bloody revolution to get rid of all of the politicians who have intentionally created the anti-Constitutional situations we have now. Washington politics is corrupt. What else will change that but a violent revolution? The voters sure don’t have the intelligence to change anything.
